Looks like time is up for all single ladies attempting to woo the heart of Flava Flav!
If you’ve watched Flavor of Love season 1 and 2, you know the rapper and TV personality has had a hard road in finding lasting romance. But did anyone see the big proposal in last night’s season 3 finale reunion coming?
While Flav dutifully distributed clocks to his questionably-nicknamed ladies all season long on Flavor of Love 3 until only one clock remained, it wasn’t the season’s winner “Thing 2” who was on the receiving end of Flav’s silver tongue (which interestingly enough, matches his blinged-out grill).
Instead, the star of the show gave a shout-out to his baby mama, Liz, and issued an on-air proposal to the woman who somehow managed to allow herself to bear his child. And big surprise, she accepted.
According to Flav, the proposal puts a wrap on any further instalments of his inexplicable-hit show, and frankly, we’re not sure how we’re going to get along without our favorite hour of train-wreck reality TV.
No more trashed-up biotches scratching eyes and pulling hair, no more retina-detaching makeout scenes between Flav and whatever Boots, Delicious or Booty-Ghetto-Fabulous offers herself up, and worst of all, no more shudderific sexy-faced Flav, murmuring...
“Baby, come get yo’ clock.”
Whatever will we do? Now that Flav is settling down with his one and only, what is to become of his leading ladies? Well, we’re sure Thing 2 isn’t crying her eyes out. She won the show, has begun her 15 minutes, and doesn’t even have to go through the trouble of pretending to be in love with Flav. Sounds like a good deal to us!
Still, we’ll miss the unintelligible mumblings of our favorite pint-sized rapper now that the show’s over. We’ll miss his crazy suits, his hottub night-moves and the merciful panning of the camera away from his bedroom as he enters with a lady – because even we don’t want to go that far.
So come back to us soon Flav, if it doesn’t work out with Liz. We’ll be waiting, waiting to hear that one more chills-up-spine cry of...
