Country singer Chris Cagle and his girlfriend Jennifer Tant have both been locked up after police were called to the couple’s home to settle a domestic dispute.
According to police reports, both parties were intoxicated when arrested and were sent to the county jail where they will be held for a minimum of 12 hours. Bond has been set for $1,500.
But this isn’t the first time the singer has had a run-in with the law. Last December, Cagle was also arrested in connection with a dispute which occurred outside a nightclub.

According to police, Cagle was arrested after becoming violent with the boyfriend of a fan, who insisted on an autograph from Cagle. When Cagle refused (police say the singer already signed a number of things for the woman), Cagle supposedly hit the boyfriend in self defence.
His court date is scheduled for September 23.
There’s no word on whether Chris and Jennifer plan to stay together after today’s kafuffle but we’re pretty sure they’re going to have some recovering to do when they’re finally set free.
