We were so happy to see Nicole’s finally-visible baby bump out on display at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas – how beautiful does she look? – to even think about the sex of the baby, and till recently, both Keith and Nicole were keeping mum (pardon the pun) on the subject.

The couple did in fact find out the sex of their baby, but didn’t want to share. “I’m glad we found out though, because it brought it home,” Dad-to-be Urban said in a radio interview, adding, “I’m very excited about it.”

Well forget speculation, leave it to Perez Hilton to bust the story wide open! Earlier today, the site reported that Nicole and Keith were having a boy, with the details coming from “a source close to Kidman.

While it’s not straight from the Kidman/Urban mouth, we’re happy to side with Perez on the couple having a wee lad. Between Harlow Madden, Halle Berry’s baby Nahla and Brangelina’s reported twin girls, it’s time for a little testosterone in the celebrity playground!

In other news...Nicole DID NOT get naked!

Although Nicole is keeping quiet on boy or girl, one thing she is speaking up on is her Vanity Fair magazine, in which rumor has it she supposedly stripped down for a pregnancy nude shoot, following in the footsteps of Demi Moore, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.

“It’s madness to think I did that or was even asked to do that,” the perpetually-dignified actress said. “I’m just looking forward to having and caring for our baby.”

Okay so she didn’t bare all, but we’re looking forward to the photos anyway. Nicole looks like a beautiful, happy mom-to be. And chances are, about 10 or 15 years down the road, baby boy Urban will be happy his momma didn’t get naked – if only poor little Sean Preston could say the same…
