The Pete Wentz / Ashlee Simpson-Wentz baby rumors are true, Clay Aiken’s impregnated his BFF Jaymes Foster and little Zac Hanson of boyband Hanson is all grown up with a baby of his own. What better time to take a look at some of Hollywood’s young men who are taking on the Daddy role?

First off, Pete Wentz.

You can’t really find fault with Pete being a dad, despite his shotgun-inspired wedding to girlfriend Ashlee Simpson. Besides, we’re kind of excited that the couple’s pregnancy rumor was true, Pete and Ashlee are cute as can be.

Even better, they both seem really excited about their marriage and upcoming addition to the family, giddily stating, “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

Cute, cute, cute.

Moving on to Zac Hanson.

It’s not really a surprise that the youngest MMMBopper is procreating only a year after he’s legally allowed to drink (and let’s face it, that’s how most babies are made, if you know what we mean). His little guy is already here, a bopping baby boy born Tuesday named John Ira Shepherd Hanson, the first baby for Zac and his wife Kate.

Zac is following in his brothers’ footsteps in starting a young family - the eldest Hanson brother at 27, Isaac Hanson has one child with wife Nikki and another on the way, while middle bro Taylor, 25, is cranking out the kiddies. He and wife Natalie have three mini-Hansons already.

Hey, we’re all in favor of lots of babies and props to all three boys for keeping their family life out of the public eye. Seems like they’re making great great grownups, despite their boyband roots!

Best for last...

Okay, time for your weirdometer to go off. The latest daddy rumors are surrounding none other than...Clay Aiken! Yup the former Idol ingénue is said to have a baby on the way, which you would think would finally put to rest all those closet speculations on his sexuality.

That is, until you hear the circumstances surrounding the baby story. Clay is said to have knocked up via artificial insemination his good friend, record producer Jaymes Foster – who for background info is sister to famous music producer David Foster.

Now you might think Clay is out of place on a young Hollywood Dad list, given he’s closing in on 30. However, exceptions are to be made for slightly older dudes who sperminate MUCH OLDER WOMEN. Yup, Jaymes Foster is the big 5-0, which makes Clay look like a warm-weather fowl.

We’re not sure if this story is true, but either way - a wee bit creepy. Still, reports say Clay intends to be an active dad, not just a sperm donor, so this little non-traditional bun could have a very happy life.
