Not long ago in this country 13 was considered the age of consent. Jews are believed to be adults at 13 as well. The average lifespan was around 40 and by 15, women had 2-3 kids back in the day, so the modern attitude towards sexuality is woefully twisted - because at 13 a kid can see a movie with violence, blood, gore and foul language, but they can't see or do anything sexual until 18. The problem is that Miley Cyrus is a child. A 22 year old should not date a 15 year old.  I am 22, and I have a hard time being attracted to 18 and 19 year olds because I am starting to see them as kids. Also, this IS our business, firstly because we have the right to see the background story on the people who are influencing our children and youth. Secondly because THEY chose to be famous and everyone knows when you're famous NOTHING is personal.

I'd like to know why in the **** people still like her. Do I give her any sympathy for the things that she's done in the past and will continue to do? No, I don't. Why? Because she's 15, for ****'s sake. She should know better by now.

But of course she wouldn't, thanks to her parents Trish and Billy Ray. They have NO backbone with their daughter. They need to stand up to her like a REAL parent would, and just... take everything away from her. If I was her parent (I'm more likely to put a gun to my head first), I'd take away EVERYTHING from her. I'd make her give me her iPhone, TV, and everything else. I'd watch her delete her MySpace account, and then I would install a filter on her computer so she could only access educational websites. But her computer would be in a room where it could be monitered at all times.

And if she STILL managed to act like a ***, I'd take away all of her furniture except for a matress, a pillow, and a set of sheets. Then, when she would be filming her show or whatnot, I'd go into her closet, put ALL of the clothing she owned into boxes, tape them up, and either donate them or put them in storage somewhere so she wouldn't have access to it. Then, I'd go out, and buy her uniform style clothes. I'd probably buy her 5 polos (In colors like black, grey, tan, white, and pale yellow), a white and black undershirt for the polos, uniform style pants or capris (Again, in black, grey, tan, white, and pale yellow), 1 pair of white tennis shoes, and 1 pair of white flats. She could only wear the clothes I'd buy her, and if I caught her wearing anything besides those clothes, she would recieve further punishment.

You know, I really dont believe it's any of our business.

I mean, yes, she is in the media. But only because we're the ones who end up majoring in Photography, or Journalism and force these poor people into this kind of stuff..

I'm sorry,  but I do believe that just about every marriage in the US, and possibly world wide.. Has a age gap. These things start somewhere. And, I don't see Miley Cyrus running around about your life, getting every single peice of dirt on you just to bash you online. Lay off.

Not to mention, studies have proven that girls mature 3 to 6 years before guys even begin to mature. She is an extremely mature girl for her age, and dating a guy his age probably just perfectly fills that gap of maturity. I guarantee if she were to date a guy her age, or a few years older.. She'd be miserable because he's not mature. I've been through many the immature.

I am 28yo and my parents were married in the 60's.  She was 15 and he was 24.  She was not pregnant and they waited 15 years to have me.  I think that different people mature at different ages.  My father certainly wasn't a perv and they were married for nearly 40 years before he passed away.
