Tom Cruise and Lindsay Lohan – Post-Birthday Recovery?
Two hot celebs passed their yearly milestones in the past couple of days. First up Tom Cruise. Tom’s no spring chicken, so we didn’t expect too many antics for his 46th birthday on July 3rd. Although we’re never quite certain, his couch-jumping days seem to be in the past and about the only thing that makes him get his groove on these days is Scientology.
He should be well-primed for some quiet 4th of July fireworks with Katie Holmes and lil’ Suri. Yaaawn.
Moving on to our favorite party girl, Lindsay Lohan. For her 22nd birthday, which took place on July 2nd, Lindsay did have plans for a huge corporate-sponsored blowout…but as we’ve heard, those went the way of her music career (sorry Linds, but Bossy? Yecch), and crapped out. Instead Lindsay opted for a retro-80s bash at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, with sbout 100 of her bffs, including DJ AM, Joel and Benji Madden and of course, gal-pal Samantha Ronson.
Unusual for our hardcore Grey Goose swiller, Lindsay’s party lasted only until 1 a.m. after which cupcake-stuffed guests departed.
A surprising yawn, but we think this shows good progress for LiLo. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, she showed signs of getting back on track, saying, “I just wanna live a happy, healthy year, and continue on the path that I’ve been on. And, you know, be with the person that I care about, and my family, and I think that’s it.”
Ohh Lindsay, ever the tease. Is that Sam you’re talking about? We expect pictures of you and your best girl at some fireworks festivities as you start your new year – laying off the booze, of course.
Perez’s Independence Day Party Kicks Celebrity Butt!
Okay, so we don’t know exactly what the celebs will be up to tonight, but we do know this! The award for making our 4th of July definitely goes to our favorite media mogul Perez Hilton. After three hard months of workin’ it out, he stuck to his guns and appeared shirtless on the Internetz just like he promised himself, getting his Independence Day festivities rolling in style.
