In an interview with the magazine, Jamie Lynn shared the details of her natural birth delivery, starting off by saying, “I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”

And coming in at far less than the predicted 12-hour labor, we would have to agree with her!

Both Jamie Lynn and Daddy Casey Aldridge apparently handled the whole birth process like old pros, despite their young ages of 17 and 19 respectively, but the young mom was full of youthful exuberance when describing the delivery room scene:

“Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all. I was just talking to Casey. And you know what’s so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, ‘Yeah.’ We were both so excited.”

The greatest part of Jamie Lynn’s revealing interview was that she made it very clear she would be staying far from the spotlight now that the baby was here – not an easy feat when you’re the sister of Britney Spears.

Jamie Lynn discussed the parenting classes she took to prep for the baby, as well as the new routine she’s established to make her daughters first months go as smoothly as possible.

“We get up in the morning and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life.”

That “little life” actually sounds like a great accomplishment, given the circumstances of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy and the challenges of being a young parent. But the new mom’s “family focus” seems to be right on track.
