Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn have officially announced that they are expecting twins this winter. A rep for the couple confirmed the exciting news today.
But it wasn’t easy for Rebecca, 35, and Jerry, 34, to conceive. In fact, they have been trying for a while. Earlier this month O’Connell told US Weekly that they had been trying to get pregnant for quite some time. I guess persistence is key when it comes to conceiving.
Jerry and Rebecca, who met at a party in 2004, married in July of 2007 in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles. Rebecca was formerly married to Full House star John Stamos, but the pair split in April of 2004 and divorced on March 2, 2005. This will be the first child (or should we say first two children) for both Jerry and Rebecca.
The happy couple join Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as well as Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony in the list of celebrities giving birth to twins this year.
Congratulations to Jerry and Rebecca on their wonderful news. Hopefully they’ll pick better names than some of the other ones chosen for celeb offspring this year (Sunday Rose).
