Shocking news that Hollywood duo Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have called it quits is circulating the entertainment industry today and has fans of the couple wondering whether the story is fact or fiction.

The relationship between Hudson, 29, and Armstrong, 36, seemed to be developing quite well over the last few months. Photos of the Fool’s Gold actress and her athletic boyfriend hanging out with their kids and getting to know one another have been gracing the pages of tabloid magazines since their relationship went public in late May.

But have the fireworks fizzled faster than Drew Barrymore and Justin Long’s initial sparks? It appears so.

A source tells Perez Hilton "They decided to go their separate ways."

"There was no drama or ugliness — they just decided to end things.There is no hatred, just sadness."

And Perez isn’t the only source claiming the dynamic duo has called it quits. Fox News and Now Magazine are both also reporting that the breakup is true - along with many others.

And another one bites the dust for the couple, who have both been playing the dating game hard since their divorces.

Since her divorce from Chris Robinson (the father of her son, Ryder) in 2007 Kate has dated everyone from Owen Wilson to Stephen McNally, with rumors dispersed in between of romances with other high profile stars like Justin Timberlake.

Meanwhile, Lance has also been trying hard to find his true love since his most recent divorce from Sheryl Crow in February, 2006. The world renowned cyclist dated fashion designer Tory Burch for several months after his divorce and was also seen cozying up to Mary Kate Olsen (who is 15 years younger than him) just before he sparked up a relationship with Ms. Hudson.

Looks like these two stars might be on the market once again.
