Rumors of a Britney Spears, Adnan Ghalib sex tape are reportedly as true as Brit-Brit’s highly hyped comeback performance at this year’s VMAs. Everyone was waiting to watch the pop star back in action on the VMA stage earlier this month, but it never happened – just like Brit and Adnan’s on air romp never happened, according to a source close to Spears, that is.

Heat magazine reported yesterday that a hot and steamy sex tape of Britney and Adnan exists and that Adnan himself confirmed (if not instigated) the entire story.

“There is such a tape, but I won't discuss prices," Ghalib reportedly told the magazine. "Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further." 

But a source in the Spears camp says the story is completely fabricated and that a sex tape doesn’t/never did exist.

“The story is completely false," the source tells E! News, and surprisingly enough, we believe them.

Adnan, who has conveniently been M.I.A. since the news broke, has always been money hungry, why wouldn’t he go this far for a few bucks? Actually, we’re surprised it took him this long to concoct such a manipulative (yet, almost believable) story.

Even if Britney and Adnan did have a sex tape (which we don’t believe to be true), it wouldn’t be the same Britney Spears we’ve grown to love again over the past few months. It would be the chaotic, British-speaking mess of a mother who seemed to think it was a good idea to partake in sexual activities with a paparazzo at all, let alone on camera.

I mean, would anyone even want to watch the tape if it did exist?
