Anne Hathaway is generally known as a smart, sophisticated actress who (unlike some of her fellow Hollywood hotties) has managed to keep her head on straight since becoming famous.

Unfortunately, Hathaway has found herself right smack in the middle of a naked photo scandal – thanks to her ex boyfriend, Italian businessman Raffaello Fallieri.

Fallieri was involved in a federal investigation after someone told investigators that he was holding very important business documents. Turns out, the safe also contained nude photos of Ms. Hathaway has quickly gone into damage control mode.

A source close to the investigation revealed the following:

“This happened way back in June and it has come to light that some of those photos that were confiscated were of Hathaway naked. Anne only learned that these photos were in federal custody when she asked for his brother, Michael to retrieve the photos.”

Luckily, the photos are safe and secure with the federal bureau of investigation – for now anyways.

Who wants to bet that these photos mysteriously become leaked to one of the tabloids?
