Taylor Swift has made her feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas, very clear since their highly publicized breakup, but we hadn’t really heard a lot from good ol’ Joe – until now, that is.
Joe Jonas was clearly upset with Taylor Swift's countless accusations of cheating and claims that he broke up with her during a 27 second phone call.
Well, he kept his lips sealed for quite some time but he’s through keeping quiet.
The dark-haired heartbreaker wrote the following message to his fans on his MySpace page:
"Several things I will state with all my heart. I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me."
And, as for the 27-second breakup call rumors: Not true, says Joe.
"For those who have expressed concern over the '27 second' phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person," he writes. "Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk."
Joe ends the message by with a mature statement, simply pointing out that sometimes things just don’t work.
“Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues," he writes. "Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently."
Meanwhile Joe has been keeping his relationship with actress Camilla Belle under the radar.
It’s a full-out war between Joe and Taylor – Who’s side are you on?
