Mary Delgado may have caught the eye of pro-Bass fisher Byron Velvick during her time on ABC’s The Bachelor but the only thing she’s been catching since is a bad rep.
The former reality show contestant was arrested in November 2007 on a charge of domestic battery for punching Velvick in the face. Less than a year later, the former NFL cheerleader has been arrested again, this time on charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting arrested. Sounds like a real catch, doesn’t she?
Mary, 41, reportedly got into an argument with employees at Lorina’s Cantina, a local bar in Texas, after she was asked to leave because of her intoxicated state. Delgado refused to leave, police were called to take care of the situation. The smart, sophisticated woman that she is, Mary argued that it was her “constitutional right” to remain at the bar as long as she pleased.
After arguing with employees and refusing to leave the bar, police officials showed up. Mary then refused arrest but and was subsequently arrested on the three charges we indicated above.
Wow, this one is a real train wreck!
And, despite both arrests, Byron still wants to marry Mary. The two are still engaged and the wedding is reportedly still scheduled for 2008. Should be an interesting wedding...
