Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt shocked the world today when they exclusively revealed they got married last Thursday. That’s right, reality TVs most hated couple have said their vows and promised to stay together for the rest of their lives (or until their MTV contract is up – whichever comes first).

Perez Hilton was first to break the news of the highly publicized couple’s union, which came as shock to everyone – especially Heidi’s family.

The 22-year-old self proclaimed singer was insistent on a huge wedding with all of her family members but has clearly given up her wedding dreams (along with the rest of her life) for Spencer Pratt.

Heidi’s mom and dad were shocked to hear the news that their daughter had eloped and have been unsupportive of her relationship with Spencer from the beginning (perhaps because Spencer constantly refers to Heidi’s mom as “stalker mom”).

And while we’d normally be happy for two people to come together and profess their undying love for one another, we can’t help but think there’s something more to this story.

Heidi was very adamant about a big wedding, so why would she change her mind and give in after all these years?

Well, we’re not completely sure of the reasoning behind the shotgun wedding but Heidi is looking unusually puffy cheeked in their exclusive photos for US weekly.

We’re not saying she’s knocked up for sure, but we’re definitely not ruling it out. She looks pregnant to us.
