Britney Spears hasn’t hit the stage to perform since her disastrous performance at last year’s VMAs but last night the former pop princess made her comeback performance at the Bambi Awards in Germany.

The formerly troubled superstar looked incredible, dressed all in black with a black hat. She reminded us of the old Britney Spears circa 2001. (click on photos to enlarge images)

And while we’re so proud of Britney for making it through her performance without looking like she took a whackload of drugs before hitting the stage, she definitely wasn’t energetic enough to consider this an actual comeback performance.

Britney made it through the entire performance without one slip-up and actual looked semi-comfortable back on stage. Maybe if she had a python wrapped around her neck, she would’ve looked a little sexier.

We don’t blame Brit for being a little nervous. After all, she did get slammed big time for her last performance and there is a lot of hype surrounding her upcoming performance during this Saturday’s episode of X-Factor.

We’re guessing this was just a warm-up for Brit-Brit, who hasn’t performed in front of a crowd in over a year.

Overall, we rate her performance a B. A little more energy and touch more confidence will have Brit back to her old self in no time!
