Love makes you do crazy things and if Chris and Rihanna really are in love and they want to give it another go around then i think that they should. I don't think that Chris would EVER lay his hands on her again because it puts his career in too much jepordy. If he can get past this then he won't want to mess up again cause people are not going to forgive him a second time thats for sure! I think that if they do get back together it would be different and hopefully he learned his lesson and knows better then to do it again..but thats my opinion

i can understand what her parents are saying, nobody wants to know that their daughter is dating someone who is actually abusing her but come on she a young lady and this how young lady's are they  are attracte to men who treat them like sh*t especially if the man is as hott and sexy as chris brown....rhianna don't go back with him.....leave him with me i am 20 dark incolour and trust me if he thinks rhianna is hott then he will adore me cuz i am so mush hotter and i can proudly say so ...i don't wear make up cuz i am just beautiful.

I can't understand a word mayaa was saying, but I agree with olivia021. If they do work things out then good for them, and no, it probably won't happnen again. The hard part is, though, she will never forget this. Everytime he'd get mad at her she would feel scared. Sometimes she'd feel angry and wish she could give it right back to him. And not one day will pass where she doesn't think about what he had done to her.

The most tragic thing about that photo is not the bruising, but the utter sadness on her face. One can easily see how broken she is on the inside.

I have read many comments on dis chris & rihanna fight...ppl r sayin dis n dat kno 1 kno's da truth but dem. Dey been 2gether 4 ova a yr n now dis happen. If Rihanna takes Chris back after this then she really does have some pschological issues herself.

I don't care how much "Love" someone claims to have, they do not beat someone up like this and that someone just does not take them back!

One can forgive and forget, but one needs to have common sense and move on.

I am sure there are many men out there that would love and treat Rihanna like the princess she looks like.

If someone is crazy enough to beat you once, they are crazy enough to beat you twice, but the craziest of them all is the one that returns to the one that beat them in the first place.

If Rihanna returns to Chris, she has lost every bit of sympathy I have for her.

Michelle, you yourself have highlighted why Rihanna should not get back into a relationship with Brown:

Occasionally getting angry is part of any relationship, even healthy ones. So why would you wish even a little bit for Rihanna to be in a relationship that will cause her to feel fear? She deserves better. Everyone does.

I think if Brown gets the help he needs, he'll be OK. But Rihanna has to look out for her own safety here.

Are u guys serious lets just look at reality what they do is there business, no one should look at her different if she takes him back. Because in the real world a regular couple would probably try to work it out. Just because you are famous does not make you perfect. Some guys go through something like that and get help. Why should those same rules not apply to chris. He is 19 there is room for help, instead of judging.

I feel that anyone can be forgiven.  If they truly love each other they can work through this unfortunate experience.  But I would give the relationship another chance, but after that if it ever happened again, I will definitely move

on.
