Susan Boyle Makeover Photos - A Truly Extreme New Look!

Susan Boyle, the international phenomenon who captured the hearts of millions this past week after her remarkable performance on the hit UK reality show Britain's Got Talent, has received more attention for her frumpy wardrobe and less-than-impressive style than she has for her vocal talent.

Susan BoyleWhile record companies scramble to put together contracts for this budding musician, makeup companies, hair salons and couture clothing stores are grasping for the opportunity to cash in on this woman's fame.

Since her appearance on the show, Susan has been approached by many makeover companies to update her look and turn this plain Jane into a Hollywood hottie (on the house, of course). Despite many offers, Boyle has politely declined.

But why - when so many people spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to look and feel great - would Susan turn down the opportunity to get special treatment for free? Well, Boyle seems to think she's just fine the way she is:

"Why should it matter as long as I can sing? It's not a beauty contest," Susan told the London Times this week. "Maybe I'll consider a makeover later on. For now I'm happy the way I am – short and plump. I would not go in for Botox or anything like that. I'm content with the way I look. What's wrong with looking like Susan Boyle? What's the matter with that?"

We're not saying that Susan looks bad - and we applaud her confidence - but a good dye job, a few highlights, a little (okay a lot) of eyebrow tweezing, a good few layers of makeup, some much-needed dental work, a complete style overhaul and a few accessories couldn't hurt, right?

We're just saying she has more potential than she's willing to realize. Take a look at these virtual makeover pics below (created by DailyMakeover) and let us know if you think Susan Boyle should take someone up on their offer.

We give it six months and Susan Boyle will look like a completely different person - who wants to place bets?

*Check out another Britain's Got Talent front-runner this year, 12-year-old contestant Shaheen Jafargholi.

For those of you who haven't seen Susan's audition for Britain's Got Talent, check it out on YouTube.

*Update: After countless comments telling me I'm a horrible person for even thinking that she may want to enhance her look, I feel obligated to show you all a photo of Susan (the woman who said she was happy the way she was) with plucked eyebrows, a cute dress, leather jacket and heels. Looks like she agreed that a little enhancing couldn't hurt. Guess I'm not such a horrible person after all.

She doesn't need a makeover. She's beautiful the way she is. it's not about how she looks, but about how she sings. I love her for herself.

And she's repeatedly said she doesn't want a make over. If that was the case, she could have had one by now.

she reminds me of my mother, who never wore make up and worked all her life to sever others.

Live your dream Ms. Boyle. I cannot wait to see your next performance in late may! I'll be watching the You Tube. another devoted Canadian fan.

I think she's quirky, adorable and utterly amazing just as she is.  It's a shame that in our shallow world that we cannot possibly accept someone for the beauty within... their heart, their soul and their kindness.

Move forward as you are Susan.  You have already proven to the world what a bunch of moronic hypocrites most of us are.  You have nothing left to prove to anyone.

God bless and best wishes.

I hope she doesn't sell out to the shallow and vain impulses of this world.  She is famous because of the total package - voice and looks.  If she were a 'so called' beautiful woman she would not have got the same attention from the media and the beauty of her story would have been lost.  They thought she was a joke, but the joke was on us!  I am happy for her success and the message she has brought to all of us.  Just what we needed in a world devoid of values.  A very long and happy life Susan!  Thank you for bringing your beauty and example to us all.

I have thought alot about how I would have reacted to hearing Susan sing if I had not had the gift of sight to see her before hearing her. I have to admit that I too now realize I have been jaded in my perceptions that somehow the way a person looks on the outside translates into what comes from within. How wrong I have been and I am ashamed of myself. Susan, thank you for helping me to see my error. I only wish you the most success in the persuit of your dreams as you remain true to yourself.

I heard about her performance on a radio program - she was so much better looking than what they described.  To me, appearance and energy go together. After hearing about her,  I had to watch her on you tube and was moved to tears by her performance.  It was so fantastic!  Because of her wonderful energy, I found her to be attractive.  However, if I only saw a photo of her, I would have thought her to be dowdy.  The same goes for "beautiful" people.  They may look beautiful, but their energy can totally negate their looks.  I vote that Susan should look like however she pleases.

I didn't realize that Susan Boyle was a hit on a  show called "Britain's Got Silicone, Veneers, Botox, Electrolysis, and Lipo".

What is wrong with you people who can't appreciate a woman with both talent AND integrity? The show was and is "Britain's Got TALENT". It you don't like or love Susan Boyle as she is, you have some choices:

*  Only watch shows called "Britain's Got Talent But Only if You Look Like a Model".

*  Change the channel.

*  Listen to Susan with your eyes closed (since your eyes are already closed to real beauty).

*  And your last choice: grow up!

I'm glad to see how much support Susan Boyle is getting for remaining true to herself. And I'm even more thrilled that Susan herself is not aiming to change for the pleasure or approval of others).

This whole experience of Susan Boyle coming to universal consciousness is a great lesson to anyone who doesn't yet have an understanding that beauty comes in many layers and many forms. Susan will be your teacher. Because she loves herself.

MODERN IDIOCRACY IN FULL EFFECT. The majority of people can't even come close to reaching Susan Boyle's vocal abilities. Her talent wasn't made it is inherent.  Her looks can be changed but what difference does that make in terms of her natural abilities?

As usual so many stupid people are arguing about stupid things, like the way somebody looks.  What this world needs is a massive decrease in population thereby eliminating dumbasses. And a massive increase in education so the human race maybe can get a clue & start paying attention to real needs and concerns of global market economies, putting an end to war, and making sure the planet isn't being killed off by the human races inane behavior.

Susan should do what she feels will help her feel more confident and empowered in this arena. Tweaking her appearance has nothing to do with her personality. In the very shallow show biz industry, physical appearance RULES whether or not we want to accept that fact. Even if she does not change her appearance, that industry WILL eventually leave its influence or mark on her. Hopefully her personality is such that she is a woman of strong values and strong convictions. If she is, she will remain who she is on the inside, whether or not she tweaks her outer appearance.

I think this website should take down the three "makeover" photos of Susan. I don't understand why DailyMakeover is so concerned about Susan's looks. I believe she looks beautiful the way she is, as almost all of the other people here have commented. Everything is just business and money. Those companies could honestly care less about her looks, as long as they are known and are advertised, that's all they need.

And to this Mollie girl from DailyMakeover.com who commented on this article as well, Susan is happy with the way she is, so I think you should just stay out of her face and clothes and let her sing. I don't get why you would say "Getting a makeover is all about empowerment to be exactly who you want to be!" when your website personally made those three "makeover" pictures in the first place, which don't even look like Susan to begin with.

People are so shallow these days, but of course, they try to be polite about it. Susan, don't change!

it is not shallow to say Susan should get a haircut

it's more shallow to say that Susan's ugliness proves a point that the world does not accept her into society but you find her beautiful because you see past that

I heard about Susan Boyle before i watched her sing, I heard about how she was ugly and that when she song she turned into an angel. When I watched it I saw it and was like 'where's the ugly lady?' Susan Boyle is not ugly, shallow of you to see that. Susan Boyle has a bad haircut, shallow of you to want her to stay 'ugly'.

If you think a bad haircut makes someone ugly and the world will then not accept them on a bad day, i hope you see past people's ugliness on bad hair days. We all get haircuts, if Susan Boyle's next hair cut makes is a good one it will not change her voice, she'll just have nice hair. Big Deal.

And I'm being completely honest when i say thing because I have a red afro-mullet. Some haircuts it's beautiful and some haircuts it's like krusty the clown so you'd be surprised how much one good cut can make

i am a  57 yr old grandmother at peace with my age...I dress however i feel like...regardless of what is "in fashion". i can be eccentric in my choice of wardrobe. a hippy throwback even! hahahaha  I am an artist/designer and express my creativity thru my creations which i love to showcase by wearing my original designs.

I never wear makeup unless i dress up for a special event. Then i will only wear a subtle shade of lipstick  and a bit of mascara! However i DO wax my mustache, i pluck my chin whiskers and I DO wax/pluck my unibrow!!! but it is my choice to do so..not because some one tells me to!

Although i have the typical golden years aches and pains, My skin looks like a 30 year old--- not a wrinkle and no thinning or gray to my hair yet...due to good mediterranean genes and diet i suppose!!!

I have never had cosmetic dental work..just the usual back teeth pulled  courtesy of menopausal bone loss hahahahha

I have never dyed  my hair. Although i had a few "shaggy" perms back in my "disco" days,  the last perm i had was for my wedding.  Today--  I don't have a fashionable hair style, in fact I have not cut my untamed locks in over 30 years aside from a bi-annual trim to get rid of dead ends.

My second chin is making its slow and shy debut.  I have a plump and curvy body  i am okay with and my husband adores in spite of the teasing and derogatory comments people make about "fat people". All my life i have heard that i am a natural beauty and how much "prettier i would be if i was thinner! ."

i share all  this because i am testimony that a woman can be content and confident if she allows herself to love herself...and not rely on the validations of others to make her feel worthy or confident.

I may be a "natural beauty" as folks say.  but i believe my 4real beauty comes from within & my genuine joy and appreciation of life's  blessings! My deep love for my family, community,  and all life  on this earth.  YES!  i have had my hardships, sorrows,  trials and tribulations!  However, i believe it has been my positive attitude and determination along with the powerful LOVE force within me that has got me thru those hardships NOT my natural outward beauty....

.

So to Susan i offer  this:::: ALWAYS Stay true to Susan Boyle...I love your confidence and that you are happy to be Susan Boyle as she is. i love this about you! if you want a new hairstyle or trendy fashions  or cosmetic dental work....whatever... then go for it but only because YOU want to not because some makeover company or shallow thinking types who say you need it to boost your confidence....you have plenty of that without a need for  their makeovers!!!!!

When i watched your performance on youtube, i was in awe of your grace and poise in spite of the snickering audience, and the judges first(patronizing) response to you. you were elegant.  i did not find you looked dowdy at all. you looked classy and elegant. even now when i look more critically at your image in that gold dress i still see a poised, elegantly dressed and confident woman. i loved your sassiness and good humor. I applauded your "quirkiness".  I found your profoundly endearing. So i was not at all surprised that you sang like a pro. like you belonged on that stage. I actually expected it.

As i watched those in the audience tears came to my eyes that you should be subjected to their cruelties and i felt pity when i should not have. because you did not need my pity.  you showed them that you had complete control of that stage. Their mockery did not even seem to phase you-- but  if it did--- you kept it well hidden. Then i began to weep because i felt an indescribable joy in your beauty....in your Dignified humbleness. every time i listen to your singing and watch your confident performance,  i feel that same emotion and  i am moved to tears.. only a few artists have had this effect on me...to make me cry.

how many so called pretty girls have been able to pull your kind of confidence off their first time on stage??? How many of them have brought an audience to tears?

I believe there should be a new word for your kind of style....boylescent.

I wish you all the blessings your are entitled to my dear!!!!!

Absolutely, Pavarotti didn't exactly lose weight or groom that often unruly mass of facial hair.  Think of all the great singers that are nothing to look at.  Well, we can all choose to buy  into the BS or we can ignore it; there is no way men and women should be judged on different criteria unless we allow it.

I don't criticize Susan for getting hair and clothes and stuff, she's unemployed and it's nice.  I wish I could afford right now to get myself all groomed up.  But grooming is the limit.  She's fine now, and I really really hope she is enjoying her success.  I wonder what she will sing for us next....can't wait.  I hope it's jazzy.

Glad to see Susan looking more her age of 47 and not like a dowdy grandmother in her late 60's, which is exactly how she did look.  She even has a cute figure for her age.  A few years ago, a friend of mine - in her late 50's asked me at what age women should stop coloring their hair - I replied NEVER.  Glad to see Susan enjoying life.  Improvements to her appearance won't change her beautiful voice.

I had to look up Elaine Page - the woman Susan wants to be as successful as - I like Susan's voice much better - it has more depth and a richer quality.   And with her mini makeover - she looks as good as - maybe even better than Elaine Page, who is much older than Susan.
