Kirstie Alley Weight Gain Photos 2009 vs. 2006!

Photos of former actress Kirstie Alley sporting a noticeably larger figure have been sparking media controversy this week.

Alley, who appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show this week, admits that she’s been struggling with her weight for the past year and can’t seem to shed the excess pounds.

Kirstie Alley 2009Over the years Kirstie has ballooned up and down in weight but her fabulously fit figure that she proudly debuted in November of 2006 seems to be nothing more than a memory.

Since 2006, when Kirstie showed off her significantly smaller figure in a bikini on Oprah’s show, she’s gained more weight and appears to be back over 200lbs.

But if you think Kirstie’s lost the weight battle for good, you had better think again. The 58-year-old “Fat Actress” star insists the world will see her toned body in a bikini again:

“We’re in the middle of a recession, and I decide, yes, I’m going to create my own business....I’m going to lose 80 pounds. I’m going to be in a bikini again.”

We hope that’s true, Kirstie. And, for those of you wondering what made the struggling actress fall off the wagon again, it’s simple; she moved all of the equipment out of her at-home gym into the garage to create a new family room. “I haven’t worked out since,” she admits.

So what do you guys think: Does Kirstie Alley have the will-power to lose the pounds again?

Check out these photos of Kirstie in 2006 (bikini photos) and in 2009:

George Smith, you are a moron. Leave Kirstie alone, for pete's sake. Why does everyone in show biz think they need to be two purges away from anorexia??

I think that this whole Kirsti Alley thing is just as crazy as she is.  If she is so big on her so called "church", solving her problems, why not turn to it.  Or do cults not work for her.

Get off it Kirsti, no one cares anymore what you do!!!!

i love kirstie and have followed her weight problems. however, lets get real-she is at least 3 inches taller than me and she weights only 228? please -i weight 244 and i am 5'5". i dont have cankles. kirstie, the first thing you need to do is reveal your real weight. everyone who sees the pictures know and can tell that you are way over 228. you keep deluding yourself about your weight and you will never keep it off. i know. i think i am not that big and i dont eat alot but i do. i saw a picture of myself and didnt even reconigize myself. i thought i had someone else's pictures. it was a shock to realize it was me. im not trying to be mean, just honest. i want to loose the weight but im lazy and dont understand why, now that i am older, that it doesnt fall off without any effort like it did when i was younger. i am having to face the fact i am fat and lazy and it isnt gonna be easy to get the fat off.

Weight loss is a struggle and it does NOT come easy... anything worth having doesn't come easy... if you want to loose the weight you have to push yourself... stay focused and strong on your goals... before you know it you will start to see a difference in the way you feel and the way ypuor clothes are starting to fit... that should keep you motivated to see how far you can take it... start off with small goals... 5 pounds... reach that then double it... reach that then double that... it isn't easy biut it is well worth the self esteem you build while making yourself healthy!!
