No, they do NOT look alike, or even close.  One paricular reason is Mrs Sanford is  way too skinny.   She actually appears to be annorexic, emmaciated - way too thin. Maria has some meat on her bones, not much, not overweight, but something to grab on to - so to speak.  BuIt the hair is brunette on both.  They are both attractive women, but Maria wins hands down.  Maybe its her spanish ancestry.    It is a sad state of affairs for all involved.  Oh sure, lots of folks have affairs, but it gets really crazy when you get caught.  Mark got caught. The only reason he wants to make ammends is that what he has done to his wife and children is, by his own admission, loathesome.  I don't think he knew this would happen - he just fell in love.  Poor man.  It would be good if Mrs Sanford would find real happiness elsewhere too.  But for now, all of them will be riddled with media hounding their every move, all day every day.  What a mess.

...And, Maria is NOT his mistress.  She is not a kept woman, financially dependent on him.  She is his lover.   There's a difference.  

Maria is definitely the better looking of the two, but the bottom line is that Jenny is the wife and the governor is a cheater.

It is just a matter of opinion as to who the more attractive woman is.  For the Governor - Please get some good counselling with your pastor and surround yourself with family, friends and members of your church.  You are obsessed with this woman and it is equivilent to being obsessed with the devil.  

For Jenny - we think you are definitely more attractive than Maria and when Mark is cured of his obsession, he will come to realize this.  He will then  be contrite and be even more wonderful than the wonderful man he was when you married him.  I am sure you still love him.  You did nothing wrong so why should you and your children have to suffer with losing him.  Stay with him, support him, and do not pay any attention to those who tell you to leave him.

Yeah, they are similar but not look-a-likes.  It doesn't matter whether the whore or the wife is more beautiful both of them are way better than him in the looks department.  In the character department the homewrecker is exactly what he deserves.

yes, how funny - they do look similar.  So really all Mrs. Standford needs to do is find a tanning salon and a chic hairdresser, pound the Ben and Jerry for a couple of weeks while working with a personal trainer and dump her loser ex looking hotter than her husbands homewrecking skank.   Obviously, the woman must have looked a lot more appealing years ago (in the picture listed she doesn't look any more appealing than any other average middle ages woman).   Obviously another classic case of male mid-life crisis!

Jenny is much more attractive.  She has good bones and real integrity.  Maria is attractive in a cheap way.  Sanford remarked about Maria's "inner beauty".  Obviously he overlooked the adultress inside.  What's beautiful about that?  It's easy to "fall in love" over the internet when all you see of the other person is what you have projected onto them (the "ideal" man/woman, you think).  I'll bet if he had to live with this woman over time, he would be out looking again.  This is not an "odyssey of the heart".  There is another organ involved, and when the blood rushes below the belt, there is not enough left for the brain.  Jenny has handled this trauma in the best way possible.  She is a real class act, and he does not deserve her.  However, for the sake of the marriage and the children, I hope they can reconcile.  Not only that, but I hope and pray that he will come to think of Maria only with shame and disgust and see her for who she really is.

Both are beautiful , both are mothers, both knew the same men. But time pass out to his wife...means his marriage its over. He found another woman gave him another opportunity to be fall in love. Now...she is the one!!!

Maria is much better looking and I am sure a better lover.  Jenny should have learned how to put some makeup on years ago.
