Alexis Cohen, the memorable contestant who auditioned for Seasons 7 and 8 of American Idol, was tragically killed Saturday morning in what police have confirmed as a hit and run crime.

Alexis made her mark on American Idol after blowing up on Simon Cowell after he called her audition “possessed.”

Alexis had hopes of being a veterinarian, an artist and a singer. She lived in a small apartment with her mom where she slept on a small couch and took care of her two cats and one dog.

Simon and Alexis did not get along. And while she took their comments like a mature professional, her actions following her audition were very memorable, to say the least. Watch the clip and you’ll know what we mean.

But before she entered the audition room and later went on her infamous tirade, she told the cameras that she hoped she was “colourful enough, strong enough and victorious enough.”

“Always have true faith and always be victorious” were the last words she said to the camera before entering the audition room.

A man by the name of Daniel Bark has been arrested and charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of a collision.
