I live by a simple philosophy – No Ike, No Tina, No Thank You!
All Tina, all the time – that’s how I roll!
Let’s go back in time and take a look at how this wildcat of the rock universe captured the hearts of millions and millions of fans world-wide.
Tina Turner grew up in a tiny town called Nutbush, Tennessee. She later moved to St. Louis Missouri to stay with her mom and sister, where she was introduced to a young rock pioneer named Ike Turner. Tina was invited to sing on stage with Ike one night in the club her sister worked at – and the rest as they say is rock and roll history.
After years in a highly abusive marriage with Ike, Tina got up the courage to leave him; and lived the next few years broke and almost homeless – relying on her friends for room and board. After years of hardships, Tina gained the strength and courage to go back on the stage, performing at supper clubs and lounges across the country – whatever it took to get back to the fame she had once known.
Today, Tina is a rock Goddess, with more fans than one could possibly imagine – her long and winding road took her straight to the top of the charts and forever showed the world the power and magnitude that is Tina Turner.
