Ivanka Trump Wedding Photos and Dress – Love it or Hate it?

Ivanka Trump has always been the definition of sophisticated elegance and her wedding dress was no exception.

Dressed in a white Vera Wang wedding gown, Ivanka Trump looked more like a bride from 1989 than 2009. Complete with a lace overlay and long veil, the new Mrs. Kirschner was all covered up on her big day and, we have to say, we didn’t appreciate the look at all. We're all for sophistication and elegance but it doesn't mean lining yourself in lace from your toes to your chin. Come on Ivanka, show a little skin already!

Her custom-made gown was paired with diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet from her own collection.

Famous guests in attendance at the private Jewish ceremony at Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey included Natalie Portman, Barbara Walters, Regis Philbin and of course, Ivanka’s dad, The Donald.

The 27-year-old bride is now officially married to her longtime boyfriend, Jared Kirschner, 28.

Take a look at the photo of Ivanka Trump on her wedding day and let us know if you love the dress or hate it!

It's the most beautiful gown I've seen in a very long time.  She looks like an elegrant, classy bride.  The trend to show skin and look like you're wearing lingerie walking down the aisle is crude and meant for people like the Khardasins and the like.

It was very disappointing.  However, now that she is an orthodox Jew she had to cover up.  I don't see any "Grace Kelly" inspiration AT ALL.  She needs to have another wedding to make up for such a disappointing gown.  Yawn.

I suppose when class shows it's head today it isn't appreciated. I thought the elegance and the lace once again shows the difference in the casual way of life which is horrid and real class, love it.

She's the Grace Kelly of her day.

With TV and the internet boobs and tatoos are the in thing, I can understand you want skin and tittilating photos, thats what you all are today. TV sex and skin shows are what you want and you get it.

Somehow you have forgotten the part of the population that stands for values and morals and we know where you stand. YOur opinion stinks as most who do what you do, critics they're like lawyer's, bad reputation, most of us never agree with your stupid comments.

She's a beauty!

I thought she looked elegant, classy, sophisticated and unique.  She didn't go for the "cookie cutter" strapless, mermaid etc. look that EVERYONE seems to be wearing.  She looked beautiful in a gown designed to show off her best features to their best advantage.  Furthermore - she will NOT look at these pictures in 20 years & wonder "what the hell was I thinking?".  Kudos to Ivanka for following her own path.  You looked beautiful!

Ivanka looked stunning, classic and beautiful, not like all the cookie-cutter strapless brides of today - kudos to her for going with something different for a change. Elegance is the way to go....

AT LONG LAST we have an intelligent, elegant, beautiful young woman who does not feel it necessary to walk down the isle looking like a slut or a skank!!

Her choice of gown was flawless and showed off her beauty and physical attributes to the max.   Millions of brides need to learn a lesson from this young lady on how to choose a gown that will go down in history as being timeless, flattering and beautiful.   Long after lots of brides are burning their wedding photos to destroy the evidence of their bad taste, Ivanka's photos will be proudly displayed for generations to come.

BRAVO IVANKA!!!!!!

She looked very beautiful and classy.  I am so tired of seeing the strapless wedding dresses that everyone has been wearing for the past 5 years.  Her dress was like a breath of fresh air and she looked amazing in it.

She looked stunning. It was a beautiful wedding gown, fit for a princess. Your comment on showing some skin is way off the mark. Todays modern bride doesn't have to look like a tramp!

Beautifully done. You have shown class and hopefully other young ladies will follow your classic taste.  Fashion designers have lost their touch. Being sexy doesn't have to be shown. There is no imagination anymore.

Ivanka, you are a beautiful young woman, wishing you and your husband the very best.  Enjoy

I thought she looked beautiful, but I also thought the dress was too conservative. But then once I read she had a Jewish ceremony, it made sense why she barely showed any skin: there are rules for a Jewish bride's dress and you can't show your chest or back and you need, as a minimum, a 3/4 length sleeve.

Before I read that it was a Jewish wedding, I thought perhaps she covered her chest because she wanted to hide her implants, which appear to still be settling into place (and are almost too big for her frame, imo).

I think she looked absolutely beautiful, classy, and poised. Her gown gave her an ethereal quality that is so lacking in todays brides. I have been to so many weddings where the bride looks like she should be dancing on tables rather than walking down the aisle. Bravo Ivanka!!!!

Ivanka has resurrected what a real bride should look like, beautiful, enchanting and feminine.  I have always disliked all that skin showing on those strapless gowns and the fact that some girls shouldn't be anywhere near strapless didn't help either.  I hope her look starts a new trend in bridal gowns - it is long overdue!!
