Watch Adam Lambert AMA (American Music Awards) Performance! RACY!

Not too long ago, Adam Lambert was belting out tunes on the American Idol stage, trying desperately to convince the judges that he had what it took to become the next Idol. While he didn’t win the coveted title, his performance during last night’s American Music Awards proved that this former AI contestant has more than what it takes to last in the music industry.

Adam performed his hit song “For Your Entertainment” last night and the performance was definitely entertaining.

The performance itself walked the line between captivating and raunchy. It was kind of like a train wreck – you just couldn’t help but keep watching.

While Lambert fans are thrilled about the controversial performance, we have to say that it was a little over the top (in our opinion). After all, when Christina Aguilera performed her song Dirrty in a similar manner (although she didn’t smother some guy’s head in her crotch like Adam did last night) she was ridiculed and called every name from whore to desperate. Doesn't really seem fair if you ask us!

What did you think of Adam’s performance last night?

Whoa!  He seems like someone forced him to go to that extreme and he seems to be working really hard in that performance.  Really sad...  I wish he could have done something better.  Controversial or not, the song was soooooo poor aesthetically and lyrically, and then the wild dominatrix, homosexual, and lewd sexual  antics..  too bad.  Less is more.  But that goes for any performer, wether they are gay or not; and a lot of young children would have been watching that.  Just like Janet J and Justin T at the superbowl.

I think Adam Lambert went way too far with his risque performance at the AMA.  I never agreed with Madonna and Britney Spears kissing in public either and two wrongs does not make it right.  There are way more people in the world that do not accept the homosexual lifestyle than does and I think it is a huge shock to see people show that type of affection in public. It totally makes my stomach turn because I think the gay lifestyle is immoral. What he did during his performance is only appropriate behind closed doors and that is the only place where that type of action should be taken.  People tune in to watch the AMA more for the music than anything else and I think adding this to the mix just resulted in a overall negative view of the performance.  Don't get me wrong, I think Adam is an excellent performer since I enjoyed watching him on American Idol and was actually pulling for him to win in the end. However, I cannot support him now that I know he is gay and acted this way at the AMA.  I think the AMA should discuss in advance what the performers plan to do as far as their song goes so this sort of thing does not happen again in the future.  I think alot of people lost respect for him after his pulled this stunt and it is unfortunate.  We all have a right to our own opinion.

MediaCurves.com conducted a study among 307 viewers of a news clip featuring “American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert’s performance at the American Music Awards revealed that the majority of viewers (80%) reported that the performance was not appropriate. Furthermore, half of the viewers (50%) indicated that public reaction would have been different if a woman had given the performance. More in depth results can be seen at:
