Those of you (like us) who normally can’t stand Mariah Carey might actually change your minds after a video released of the singer today. The self-proclaimed diva must be burying her head in embarrassment this morning after clips of her drunken acceptance speech during last night’s Palm Springs Film Festival hit mainstream media.

The 40-year-old clearly had a little too much bubbly before making her way on stage to accept the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Precious – and even she admitted she was too tipsy to speak.

After babbling on for almost two minutes about absolutely nothing (with tiny outbursts of laughter in between) Mariah finally walked away from the podium giggling and chatting with director Lee Daniels.

After watching the video, we have to say, this is the most entertaining clip we’ve seen of the pop diva. We’d even go as far as calling her almost tolerable to watch for 2 minutes (okay, nevermind we take it back).

At least this means she’s not pregnant!
