Taylor Swift took home one of our top awards for Best Dressed at the 2010 Grammys but that wasn’t the only recognition the country songstress received last night.

The 20-year-old music sensation is taking the music industry by storm and last night’s prestigious event was no exception. Swift walked away with a whopping 4 Grammy Awards last night – but the biggest surprise came at right at the end.

After already receiving awards in categories like Best Country Album and Best Country Song, Taylor was on top of the world. Unexpectedly, the “Fearless” singer was also awarded the most coveted award of the entire show – Album of the Year.

To receive this award, Swift had to beat out some of the music industry’s most influential stars like Beyonce (who took home 6 awards) and Lady Gaga (who took home our award for Worst Dressed). Fortunately, Swift had the votes to take home gold – and her acceptance speech, like always was graceful and down-to-earth.

While Taylor’s millions of fans were thrilled to see their idol win the prestigious award, others (including Kanye West, we’re sure) think Beyonce and Lady Gaga were more deserving.
