This season of the Bachelor has been following former Bachelorette cast-off Jake Pavelka as he narrows the field of 25 women down to just one. But Jake isn’t the only one making big decisions on this season – so is one of the most likely ladies to steal Pavelka’s heart in the end – Ali.
Ali (often misspelled as Allie) had a big decision to make during last night’s show – and what she decided to do at the end of the episode was as devastating for fans as it was for Jake.
Last night’s episode showed Jake and Ali on a hometown date where Jake met Ali’s family. It was at this time that Ali told Jake that if he asked her right then, she’d married him. Surprisingly enough, it was in last night’s same episode that Ali decided to leave the show because of work-related issues.
Ali described the situation as being torn between the two loves of her life (work and Jake) but ultimately decided that her job as an advertising account manager was more important.
Bachelor fans now know that the real kicker came in the previews for next week’s episode where Ali calls Jake. The reason for Ali’s call is unknown but if this season is anything like last season – don’t rule out those contestants who leave the show for work purposes (after all, Jillian chose Ed after he had left the show for the same reasons).
So will Ali return and will she end up stealing Jake’s heart in the end? The answer is no. Reality Steve (who has been correct on several occasions) claims his inside source insists that Gia goes home next week and Tenley and Vienna make it to the final two. Shockingly, the source also insists that Vienna wins.
Personally, we're happy Ali left - we just wish she took Vienna with her! At this point, either Tenley or Gia would be a good fit for Jake, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the happily ever after we're hoping for.
So what did you think of last night’s episode? Are you upset that Ali left and do you think Jake would have picked her in the end if she didn’t leave?
