Ali was trying to feel out Jake when she told him she was torn between leaving or not.  She was looking for the answer from him.  When he didn't immediately communicate to her that she was the one he was going to pick as his wife, that put doubts in her mind.  He told her he couldn't promise to give her a ring at this point.  Also, I noticed when they were sitting outside at her house, she kissed him and he seemed to hold back.  She noticed he wasn't completely in love with her.  I think he was attracted to her but not sure that she was the "one" and Ali sensed it too.

Vienna is too much younger than Jake and very immature.  He will be marrying a spoiled, rebellious child and will find out soon enough.  It must be sex appeal that is attracting him to her because she throws herself at him and makes it obvious that she has no problem with being intimate.  

Tenley is beautiful, full of life, smart, talented and will make someone a wonderful wife.  Too bad Jake is blind to that.  He is letting the most awesome woman slip through his hands and in time he will regret it.  

I'm pissed that he would pick Vienna. It just discouraged me from watching the show anymore. I was not one to watch much reality shows but i really liked Jake and figured he would pick the right girl. I can' believe he let Ali get away. OH well so much for reality show. I won't watch it again. No more bachelor or bachelorette for me.

I agree with Jen from Florida....Jake couldn't tell Ali she was the one. I also think she's just a player; unlike Vienna who is real. I also think the producers can slant ANY person to look a certain way and they have done that with Vienna. I don't think she's as 'brutal" as they claim.

Gia is just too "sickingly" sweet, Yuck. Get real. She bats her eyes and looks at him behind her bangs. Ewww...gag me. Phony.

Tenley is everything Jen from Florida says, but I don't think she's as "full of life" and fun as Vienna is, but Jake is also looking for someone who takes risks, is spontaneous, adventure seeker, etc....

On the other side, Vienna is all of that! Vienna wears her heart on her sleeve and Jake respects her for that. So to the Canadian who said they wouldn't watch the show anymore because he might pick Vienna...well OMG. It's a SHOW! And it's JAKE'S LIFE!

I hope everyone is wrong...  Vienna is not there for Jake, she is there for exposure on TV.  Remember Darva Conger on "Who wants to marry a millionaire"?  When the guy picked her her true motives came out right away.  Then they came out again later when she did a stint on Playboy...  Vienna is spoiled and selfish.  Her father has not done her any favors by rolling the red carpet in front of her and giving her everything she wants.  She has not been given the chance to learn how to develop her character and earn the things that she wants.  There is a big difference between loving your children but teaching them responsibility and developing their character and spoiling your children to such an extent that they actually believe the world revolves around them and they deserve everything from everyone.  It's really her parents fault but unfortunately she will be the one who will suffer the consequences later for their mistake.  If Jake pick's her she will have proven that his judgment is faulty and he has no wisdom.  I really thought the best girl for him would be Ali but after this episode I wondered if she was not really having to choose but actually trying to manipulate an answer out of Jake before the end.  If that's the case that kind of serious manipulative streak is bad for any marriage!  I guess we'll have to see the end to find out what happens.  Honestly part of me thinks that EVERYTHING in this show is fabricated according to what the producers think the audience wants to hear.      

I really hope that he is wrong and Ali does come back. I am very torn between Tenley and Ali as teh perfet one for Jake. Vienna will drive him crazy! She is not right. Gia is sweet but I can see her as a good ol Texas girl. That could be because I am a Texas girl myself! I am afriad that Tenley might bring too much baggage to the whole thing. I really hope that Ali comes back because she is prefect forJake!

I am with Canadian comment above... Not sure I will be watching anymore if he picks Vienna.  Vienna is just not trustworthy she will do or say anything to get what she wants to make a point...Ali was right for Jake, who can't see that... Tenley needs to take time and get OVER the ex-husband before leading Jake on, Gia way to shy, and not very confident for Jake...Ali is just a perfect fit... really disappointing.

I cannot believe Ali left. I believe that JAke would have picked her in the end. I dont think he will now, even if she come back. I pray he does not pick Vienna. I can't stand her. I also think Tenley would be a good choice for him.

I think that Jake will end up with Ali. They were meant to be together. Although we all know that the choice was made back in November when the taping of the show ended.

I would hope that Ali is our next Bachelorette  If she didn't come back to the show and/or Jake didn't pick her in the end.

What amazes me is the fact that viewers who "say" they are not going to watch the show anymore because things didn't  go the way they wanted. Hmmm !! Maybe the next Bachelor or Bachelorette  will have the ending you want.

I hope that Ali did come back and in the end its was Jake and Ali.

Ali is very intelligent and would be a great compliment to Jake.  I think he might be intimidated by her.  She is a professional working woman that seems to have a good head on her shoulders.  That being said, there are two reasons I think Jake settled, yes I mean "settled" for Vienna.  One, he was thinking with his penis, something Patti from Millionaire Matchmaker knows a lot about.  And she is probably screaming at the TV "NO, NO!"  to Jake.  The other reason  is that Vienna is a lot younger and inexperienced in life.  It might make Jakefeel more at ease then being involved with a woman smart enough to challenge him or confront him when needed (Ali or Tenley).  Then there is always the fact that some men just want a woman to constantly adore them and follow them around like a puppy dog.  

I agree that Gia is not the right girl for him.  Meeting her family was a disaster!  First of all, they didn't have Jake come to their home, red flag there.  They met at a restaurant.  Gia's brother is scarey!  If I thought that would be my future brother in law, well, I'd be a little concerned.  Her mother reads Tarot cards??? Yikes, I would run as far from that scenario as I could.

Vienna reminds me of a spoiled rich kid, although I don't think she is all that rich if she lives in Sanford.   Did you see how she poked at Jake asking if he knew how to drive the boat?  She will be driving the boat in their marriage, if he marries her.   Jake you are in for a rough ride!

I hope they ask Ali to be the bachelorette on the next season.

Did anyone notice how Vienna said (at least twice) that Jake was the man "her dad" would like for her?  Jake will never be able to hold a candle to "daddy," and will be totally emasculated if he picks her to be his wife.  She's just a spoiled brat and verrrrry immature.  She lives in a dream world, wanting to please daddy above all else, Jake included.

I think it is possible that Vienna may not be as terrible as she is being portrayed.  Tenley seems to still have some issues to get through.  And Gia does not seem completely sincere.  Too bad Ali left....she seemed like a nice girl and had a really sweet family

Ali kept waiting for Jake to say that she was the one. Why would someone's boss let them go for the whole show and then tell them in the last week that if they didn't stop right at the end they're fired? She will be back next week, it worked for Ed didn't it?

If it wasn't for RS I would still think Jake would somehow end up with Ali or Tenley ... but we all know he's picking Vienna, that's just how this show is.  During Jason's season I was so disappointed when the spoilers came out that he put the ring on Melissa's finger before only after the first episode because I thought, great, he picks the cheerleader.  Then he did something even worse by picking Melissa and then dumping her for another contestant I disliked even more .. Molly! But the only reason why I dsliked her was because I was a Jillian fan.  So I re-watched the whole season after the AFR parts I and II, and it really was evident it was Molly all along based on HIS interactions with her.  When we watch a season that is currently airing we are so caught up in wanting 'our' favorite to win that we don't realize that our favorite might not be the Bachelor's chosen one and automatically makes us dislike the contestant that might win.  So this season, since I know it's Vienna, I've been paying close attention to Jake's interactions with her .... yeap he's definitely picking her alright, for reasons I don't get, but he definitely is smitten by her.

Okay so here's the scoop. Ali was playing mind games. Her antics were all fueled by fear. Fear of being rejected. I'm sure somewhere in her past she lost a man that she loved. Where is her Dad? Anyways this was all a plan to have  Jake tell her she was the one and an attempt to secure her spot. Talk about being insecure....Ali is the most insecure! Her child like behavior as she sat with Jake at the rose ceremony was painful to watch. The pouting lip, the forced tears.  All girls seem to have baggage but who doesn't. From what I've seen Jake has a few heavy suitcases himself. All I can say is Ali was not the one for him, nor is Tenley or Vienna. Gia is insecure and uses her hair as a way to hide herself so she's not the one either. Really the only woman for Jake will be a female therapist to help him through this big emotional flight of mistakes.

Whoever Jake picks, I hope he is happy with her. Having said that, Ali is a complete and total idiot. She was obviously one of the favorites and Jake has obvious feelings for her, but to choose your job - as an ADVERTISING ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE - over the man she says she loves? Come on - how dumb is she - professionally speaking?

In that professional role, if her company fired her, she would have a plethora of job offers - for more money - than what she has now. Afterall, she would be the celebrity that could be used for marketing purposes by a new company to woo clients and prospectives. Moreover, her current company is instantly the villain. She holds all the cards - and doesn't realize it.

I like Ali, she is more mature and actually has a good career! Vienna looks and acts like white trash. I read that she is an unemployed Hooters waitress. I just can't see Jake with her!

Personally this show is a remake of Bachelor last season..If Ali comes back and jake picks her, there will be very few people watching the show anymore.

I lost sleep over last nights episode!!!!

Her and Jake are soo perfect together, everytime they are on the screen its soo fun and amusing to watch.

Gia is not right for him, she has nothing but good looks.

Tenley is cute and sweet but somewhat boring and is OBVIOUSLY emotionally unstable! She has way too much Baggage, and yes we all have bagage but not all of have been divorced and ready to be engaged all in the same year! like come on are you kidding me!!!??!! If Jake picks her hes asking for trouble!

Vienna, come on gimme a break, there is no NOOOOO wayyyyy that she will be enagged to Jake, I cant even see the bimbo, paris hilton wannabee engaged to any man, let alone someone as good as Jake.

i think he and Ali make the BEST couple out of the four that remained. I will be extremely upset if he picks Vienna because not only does she look like a spoiled daddy's girl, she is just plain obnoxious. If Ali does not come back and win then I think it should be Tenley. Gia's and Jake's relationship, although he insists that it's not, is largely based on physical attraction (considering Gia's a swimsuit model). And Jake seems like the perfect guy and Vienna seems like the most annoying, stuck-up girl ever. Therefore, if Jake can't have Ali he should marry Tenley.

I don't care what anyone says - ALI IS THE ONE JAKE SHOULD BE WITH - period.  Did anyone else see him basically fall out of the truck and run to her, swooping her up in her hometown where he didn't do that with any of the other girls?!  And what about in one of their conversations where Ali says, "I'm really falling for this guy" and Jake's voice cracks, his eyes get all lovey-dovey and he chokes out, "Really????" Jake is IN LOVE with Ali and if she would have stayed, he would have picked her most definitely!!

Gia would have been the first to go (she just creeps me out or maybe that was her brothers hair...), then Tenley (she's sweet but clearly still hung up over the ex, I understand she was hurt but she's not the first person in the world to be cheated on and divorced, she needs to get herself straight and let go before she came on the show), and then it would have been Vienna and Ali at the end.  And, like I said, Ali most def would have won... and she would have found a new job easily.  

Jobs are a dime a dozen but a hottie like Jake who wants to be a devotional husband is rare - WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ALI?!?!?!  At one point shes crying in the limo and says, "I don't know what I'm doing!!" Well that should be an indicator to you that you're NOT doing what you should be & you should've ran your pretty little butt back to Jake.  I'm disappointed with the RS leak b/c it completely dashes all my hopes for Ali's return.  But I'm sure Jake & Vienna won't be together long and shortly thereafter he'll be searching the streets of San Franscico looking for Ali... at least, I hope so...

I think this is all planned out by ABC.  I think Ali is gonna come back and be the new bachelorette.  I think her crying episode last night was completely fake and she's mean and rude.

Ali was the best fit for jake.  They seemed to go together, very comfortable and cuddly with eachother.  She was real to him unlike the other girls, and if you think shes mean, shes only telling the truth, and shes not afraid to tell Jake how she feels. She better come back

Can't see her venturing too far from Daddy... the show's like watching a car wreck, but too many things seem staged (ie, the phonecall to Jake by Ali, just when he 'happens' to be in his hotel room..??)  Sigh.

Jake man, you better pick Ali. I do not watch these kind of show all the time. I was flipping my chanels onday, I saw you standing with all these women. i said to my husband, Ali is one. Viennsa is a trash, the other two..they are ok. If you were my son son I would pick Ali.....go get her son....She is smart and beautiful.

Ali was just trying to manipulate Jake.  She is so in love with him and could not stand the thought of having to compete with the other women - so she tried to put the squeeze on him and it back- fired.  He was smart enough not to fall for her tactic.  She knew in advance how long the show was - she could have taken a leave of absence from work.  

Tenley seems like a nice woman but she needs to work on the modulation of her voice - she has this little girl voice that drives me up a wall.  Gia seems fake top to bottom.  Vienna seems like she is not right either.  So I think Jake is out of luck with this bunch!

Man, when I check out the word Bachelor on the net just for kicks all I see are Vienna haters repeating the same thing over and over on these similar boards.  Mostly written by women that must be exactly like that Ali.  I just quickly gone through episodes of this show to check it out on the net and I see no such thing as Vienna being some villian.  I see Ali being the trouble maker and is exactly what guys do NOT like is a scheming hag for a wife or a relationship.  Another thing that I have seen on some other comment board is that these yappy women/OR kids seem to do is to put Vienna's looks down.  I do not care how pretty a woman is, when she is ugly on the inside then she is uglier then what some say about Vienna's looks.  I have also checked to see who really is Jake.   If he was bullied in school as it says on the net then I can see what a perfect fit this would be to have him pick Vienna that was pretty well bullied on the set for what she said or what Ali said she said.

This one's for "Jo, Dallas":  No offense but Tiger Woods did not marry a dumb blond!  In fact, she is smart, beautiful and by all appearances, very devoted and loving to him.  He's the dumb one for running around with all those cheap women who hang around rich guys so they can get a little cash and their 15 minutes of fame!  

Meanwhile he has a good woman at home who bore him 2 children and has probably been putting up with his disgusting self centered, "I am the king of the world" attitude for all their married life!  

This one's for "Ace":  Again, no offense, but obviously Vienna has a way with twisting some guys' minds so they don't see the real her.  Just like she's doing to Jake and he's totally blind to it.  Even her mother said Vienna's been having trouble with people talking about her all her life!  

Some of that may be jealousy or envy or whatever but not all of it.  While I agree with the fact that Ali was a little too overt with her objections towards Vienna, it can't be that everybody always is wrong about her.  She is spoiled and selfish and, as I said before, she is not there to win Jake, she is there to win period!

Vienna is so deceitful!  Jake says that she is "brutally honest" with him and he likes that.  If Vienna is so "brutally honest" why does Jake not know that she stole money from her ex-husband (who was in Iraq at the time) to get a boob job, posed in risque photos, AND worked at Hooters?  Those are not the qualities that Jake has proclaimed to want in a wife.  Vienna is pathetic and ridiculous and I cannot believe that anyone would take her seriously.

Ali was so perfect for Jake and while I'm sure it was a terribly difficult decision for her, I wish she had stayed.  She & Jake are truly perfect for eachother!  

Jake- If you picked Vienna, you're probably already single by now.  A word of advice, get Ali's phone number and go after her.  You're right for eachother!

I think Jake chooses Vienna in the end because of his insecurities due to past relationships, remember Jillian's season?  He even admitted he would never get past first dates because he tries way too hard.  Past rejections did nothing for his self-esteem, therefore resulting in him not picking Ali, Tenley or Gia because he probably feels that they're too good for him.  By picking Vienna, it's a win win for him because he has the upper hand since she is so needy and would go to great lengths to win him in the end.  She's the pursuer, not him ... Bingo, just what he's looking for!  With Ali, Tenley or Gia, Jake probably fears it would only be a matter of short time until they realize they could do better ... so he takes the safe route in picking Vienna.  Kind of like Jason took the safe route in proposing to Melissa.  

Oh "coco crispy" I would have nearly missed your word "beautiful" insertion in the  answer to "Jo" if only I had just stayed so impressed by your written style. Why the call down towards any man's choice is what you may want to answer. I ask you since you are one of the few of a kind that maybe writes a little more of reason then most women that seem to have an obsession about Ali being the right one for Jake?  I will not mirror your writing abilities since I am a guy that just has a few minutes here and there and this is not an essay contest.  

As a guy, I surely would not want to do one of these type of TV reality shows to get the gal of my choice.  Seen not much of such a choice as Jake  wanted.  He by his admission on TV wants someone that will have his back when he needs it.  Ali is insecure more so then others since that "little too overt" with her objections towards Vienna is something that is just that--- either it's insecurity or manipulation.  Bad either way for a relationship to start off from.  How can she have his back when she is so full of herself with other preoccupations?

Many say how smart Ali is.  Why does it add up to not so?  Crying tears of please help me over a job?  There is such a thing as overstay of what has been asked for from a workplace but had she been more secure in the first place then she would have made sure she got that approved ahead of time for the longest term possible.  This trick worked on the last Bachelor but it's old now to be played out to be the same.  Ok, she was not so smart or secure, then I shall ignore what some say about it all on the contrary.  Ah, then there is all that cry from Ali's supportive viewers that she is prettier than Vienna etc.  What makes women more so then many men thinking that beauty is so extremely important?  Is that how women viewers want it to be?  Does that not say to us men that if you happen to get your face all mangled up due to some accident you are totally useless as a human being? This is a show but all that hustility from women that want it to go to their choice is more wild then it should be.  You are more whacked than us guys that watch our favorite game at the point that is nearly being lost.  We at least forget it quickly and be friends with one another after all that howlering and calling names and being demeaning!  Enjoy your rants and rave ladies and few gents!

Ali was soooo real like a scaredy alley cat! Hissed so much that she didn't want to smell like a rat.  She figured she  would be a louse. So she changed into a weepy mouse. This will surely get her another chance! Or she will do another song and dance. In hopes to be back on the next season. Jake..bring Ali back..You will regret it if you don't she is for you. I am a mother of 5 children. I have been a judge for contests for years. Yo it's @"The power of Love",name.  No disrepect -just playing your word "BOMB"in a different context  in reference to Ali.  So true, she is a ticking time bomb.  When she cannot work it with forming a gang (loading up her explosive power) against her competitor then she explodes into tears.

There was not enough will power within her of being a stable level headed mature person.  She has some big time trouble maker issues!  She has not grown up from remaining as what a regular pretty snooty highschool  bully gal would be like.  

Is Bella's note of 2/9 correct and Jake was already spotted with Vienna??  Darn.  Ali was my first choice and Tensley my second one.  That is, if he truly meants what he said about family and honorable principles.  In Ali's decision to leave...I believe Ali would have "believed" Jake that he was falling in love with her, but remember she said she doubted when she saw the "other" girls...and I know it was because they placed Vienna right next to her!  Ali had told Jake earlier that she & Vienna were totally different and if he could keep her, then she questioned what would they have in common.  I believe it was Jake's lack of good judgment with Vienna that was the bottom line in Ali leaving.  Who could trust him after "all" the warnings and seeing Vienna in action?  

Why did he keep Vienna?  Why was he in her parents home and necking with her on a bed?   I saw a clip from CelebTV that Vienna's ex-mom-in-law accused Vienna of "emptying out" her son's (the ex's) bank account while he was in Iraq...and claims the first thing she did was get a boop job.  Anyone see the clip?  I think Jake is a fool for not listening to all the other girls who tried to warn him...and he saw plenty of warning signs of his own.  i.e.  her obsession with pleasing her dad; her family verifying she does aggressively go after what she wants (and he admired it?!); her stunts of interfering when other girls were with him and going to his room that night!  Duh!!  My opinion of Jake also dropped when he seemed broken up about Ali leaving and then shortly later put on a big smile and excitement about being with the other "three wonderful" girls.  Quick recovery and so much for the loss.  I do hope Ali will be the next Bachlorette!!  She would be awesome, and find someone else deserving!!
