Bachelor fans haven’t even seen who Brad Womack picks at the end of this season and already the woman chosen for the 2011 season of The Bachelorette has been announced. Well, it wasn’t officially announced by ABC but perhaps someone even more reliable than the network itself: Reality Steve.
Reality Steve announced earlier today that Emily Maynard will not be the next Bachelorette, despite her popularity on the show. At the time of his posting, he had no idea who would be the woman taking center stage later this year but just a little while ago he revealed that it will, in fact, be Ashley H (Ashley Hebert).
I know what many of you are thinking: How can she be named the Bachelorette when she’s still on the show? Well, the reality is, she’s not on the show anymore. She was kicked off a long time ago (remember, they taped this show in the summer/fall of 2010) and we’ll see her departure this week. Ashley H only makes it to the Final 3 on the show before being sent home.
The ladies who were sent home this season will be flying to LA this weekend to film the Women Tell All episode but don’t expect any information from Chris Harrison or ABC on Ashley H’s news.
Now that you know who the next Bachelorette is, do you think ABC made the right choice?
