Faith looked like an idiot stepping it. Do you know how crazy it gets at concerts? who knows if she was reallly grabbing for his jewels. I'm sure she'd say no if you asked her. But in any case, i believe Tim is a big boy, he could've taken care of himself.

My opinion is that it was not a joke - and even if it was, what kind of an immature joke to pull on someone?

That's not respectful and maybe someone should teach her some class.

PS. I was defending when I wrote this post - I said good for her for sticking up for her husband.

She WAS joking about the Carrie Underwood thing. On her website it said that after the show she went and apologized 2 Carrie. Carrie said that she thought nothing of it. It's all good.

Faith Hill wants to talk about having class. Yet, she couldn’t stand the fact that a more youthful Carrie Underwood topped her at the CMA’s. Mcgraw is a celebrity, a sex symbol of country music. Whenever you have someone in that position, you are gonna have erratic fans doing strange things. For example, at a Tom Jones concert, it wasn’t out of the norm to have women throwing their panties on stage at him. It goes with the territory. So, you had a crazy fan go crazy. Big Deal. It isn’t like that fan was going home with Mcgraw. And why didn’t Mcgraw react as crazily as Hill did. He knows that he’s married to a chick with anger management issues, so he just plays the good guy role so that he keeps the female fans coming so that the cash will keep coming in. Bottom line, Faith isn’t one to talk about class.

Of course, Hill wasn't joking about the Underwood incident. She had to apologize and save face. Underwood graciously accepted because in this way, she looks like the bigger person and that will keep her in the good graces of the media and public, which in turn will help her ratings. I agree with all the comments about Faith being jealous of Carrie Underwood, and that her appology was only to save face. I love all of their music. Faith though lost some of her appeal with the Carrie situation. BUT this new item of standing up for her man cancels out any bad rap she has gotten. Both Tim & Faith are beautiful and talented. It's about time a successful female teaches our young women coming up what is not acceptable. And throwing panites as rude and childish as that is still is not touching someone inappropriately. And anyone going to their concert knows that where Tim is Faith is, talk about disrespect. It's not just a problem here, it's a problem in our culture today, no morals, no up bringing, no recourse, just do what ever. I say good job Faith.

I think Faith Hill had every right to say what she did. I just kind of wish she had used different language. It didn't exactly make Her look classy....but the woman was definitely Way out of line. Ms. Hill's reaction was a natural one, I guarantee she could haved said or done a Lot worse.l. As for the people blaming Tiim McGraw....it would be very hard for a man to say something to a woman doing something like that. He might have really lost his temper and said or done something he regretted. It was smart of Faith to step in. I don't think she was playing "mommy"-just being a good wife.
