 Pamela Anderson has been denied a permit by the city of Montreal to hold an event launching her newest animal rights campaign. The famous vegetarian joined forces with PETA, creating the sexy advertisement (pictured) in attempt to get people to stop eating meat.
Anderson stripped down to a skimpy bikini for the ad, and is covered by marks that imitate a butcher’s diagram – her body is divided up into sections, including, “breast,” “ribs,” “round,” and “rump.” The ad’s caption reads, “All animals have the same parts. Have a heart – Go vegetarian.”
I don’t know about you, but if I stuck a fork into a breast with that much silicone, I’d certainly ask for my money back.
Pamela Anderson is currently in Montreal for the Just for Laughs Festival, and “had hoped to launch the campaign at a public square in front of Montreal’s city hall,” CBC News writes. However, Montreal film commissioner, Daniel Bissonnette, whose office reportedly denied the permit, claimed the ad was too sexist to be shown. “It is not so much controversial as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women,” a city official reportedly wrote in an email to PETA.
PETA’s Vice President, Dan Matthews suggested in a public statement that “Montreal city officials are confusing sexy with sexist.” Pam herself has come forward to express her surprise at the ban, saying, “I didn’t think Canada would be so puritanical.” They city of Montreal is known internationally for its party nightlife and wide variety of strip clubs.

Ali Fedotowsky has had her fair share of heartbreaks this season on ABC’s The Bachelorette and last night’s episode was no exception.
Ali was ready to get up close and personal with the three final men. Romantic dates were setup at Le Tahaa Island Resort Spa (the same place Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are honeymooning this week) but Frank Neuschaefer quickly proved that all Tahiti vacations aren’t as romantic as they seem.
Before Frank arrived for his fantasy date with Ali, he reunited with his girlfriend Nicole back in Chicago. After meeting with Nicole Frank quickly realized that he was in love with her, not Ali.
When Frank showed up for his romantic date with Ali, things quickly went downhill as he revealed to Ali he would be leaving the show to pursue a relationship with Nicole back home.
Ali was devastated and – being the mature adult she is – whined for a good 25 minutes complaining that Frank was a selfish coward and the biggest jerk she had ever met in her life.
Fedotowsky, who appeared on the previous season of The Bachelor, left Jake Pavelka after her hometown date to save her career. Some might construe her actions as selfishness but Ali was clearly in the right when she left the show last season and Frank is clearly in the wrong this season (sarcasm).
Bachelorette spoilers reveal that Ali is still a single girl – and that the 25-year-old bachelorette ended up with no one in the end.

 Plus size model, Crystal Renn and her curves have been credited for helping to diversify the fashion world’s model landscape. So when images surfaced of a much skinnier- looking Renn after a recent Fashion for Passion shoot, the public was shocked began to question whether or not she had sold out to the world of fashion and ditched her signature curves.
Her agent immediately asserted that Crystal was (and is) still a “solid size 10” writes Fashion Magazine, and now the model herself is speaking out about the heavily ‘shopped pics. Turns out, she was just as surprised as we were.
“Well, I was shocked. When I saw the pictures, I think I was silent for a good five minutes, staring with my mouth open,” said Renn.
Reportedly when questioned, the photographer argued that the photos were “…taken from a higher angle with a wider lens. I shaped her… I did nothing that I wouldn’t do to anyone. I’m paid to make women look beautiful.”
Apparently then “beautiful” still only equals “skinny” in the fashion world, as he took a natural beauty and made her barely recognizable.
Crystal continued to say, “Listen, everybody retouches, but don’t make me into something I’m not.”
I couldn’t agree more.

 Spencer Pratt has become surprisingly amusing over the past few weeks. I used to think he was annoying and obnoxious but suddenly he’s become quite hilarious – especially if you follow him on Twitter.
From his rants about the Hills cast (he called Kristin Cavallari a “cokie” today) and remarks about former wife Heidi Montag to his dreams of becoming a professional rapper and writing a tell-all book, his daily tweets are mildly amusing.
But how does the now-homeless, former Hills star plan to do to celebrate the series finale of the hit MTV show? Well he plans to crash the party (which he clearly wasn’t invited to), of course!

 Mel Gibson has not been painted in an positive light – to say the least – when it comes to the media and the second audio tape of the actor screaming at his girlfriend is definitely not going to help his image.
In this 8-minute clip, Mel says the F-word (several variations of the word) and refers to his ex-girlfriend as a c-nt several times.
He also threatens t to kill her and admits to punching her in the face twice.
“You F-cking deserved it,” Mel tells his former flame Oksana Grigorieva in reference to hitting her in the teeth twice while Oksana was holding their baby.

Many believe that Oksana was the one to release the audio tapes of Mel’s breakdown while others believe the tapes were released by someone else.
Likewise, many (like Whoopi Goldberg) are defending Mel Gibson, claiming he is a good person while others are siding with Oksana agreeing that Mel is out of control.
I have to say, after listening to the tapes, I am 100 percent on Oksana’s side. There is nothing she could have done that would make Mel’s actions acceptable.

 It was the day Carrie Underwood has been waiting for since Mike Fisher proposed to her in December of last year. 250 guests attended the lavish wedding, which took place at the elegant Ritz Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation.
Carrie, who has skyrocketed to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol, walked down the aisle in a beautiful Monique Lhuillier dress. Carrie’s bridesmaids also walked down the aisle in Monique Lhuillier dresses, although no one has seen photos of what they look like.
The extravagant event was lined with security. Everyone involved in the planning of the event was asked to sign a confidentiality agreement beforehand, including the pie company, the sheriff’s office (who was hired to act as security for the event) and the resort. The photos will be exclusively shown by PEOPLE, who reportedly paid a whopping 2 million for the shots.
Even the guest list remains a mystery, although rumors that Brad Paisley, Tim Mcgraw, Faith Hill, Paula Abdul and David Cook attended the wedding are surfacing this week.
What we want to know is whether Carrie’s former BFFs Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler showed up for the big day.
We would have thought that Kellie would have been one of the bridesmaid’s and that both ladies would have been invited to the big event but Pickler was set to perform at the Madison county fair on the night of the wedding.
Did Taylor and Kellie get the shaft from the wedding? We sure hope not.
In other news, Kellie Pickler also got engaged this week.

If anyone had any doubt about the relationship between Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne, new tattoos with each other names might add some solidification to the rumors.
That’s right, the reality star who refused to settle down (even with hottie Kristin Cavallari) now has the name “Avril” tattooed on his arm. But it’s not a one-way street with this new duo – Avril reportedly has “Brody” tattooed on her ribs.
Whether the tattoos are legit remains unknown but taking a look at the photos below seems like Brody’s new ink is the real deal.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have been dating on and off for quite some time but, as most of you know, the two took their relationship to the next level on June 24th when the pair wed in Hawaii.
Fans of the actress were interested to find out about her infamous wedding gown and what made her pick such an elegant yet simple look for her big day.
"As beautiful as she is, says a source, "she didn't need anything extravagant like million dollar diamonds or lots of flowers. She just wanted a simple wedding gown.
And while the gown may have looked simplistic in nature, the price tag was likely extravagant. The silk georgette strapless gown designed by Giorgio Armani featured a 16-foot train that ended up causing difficulties for Fox.
 
“It was was so big, she couldn’t keep it off the ground.” But Megan wasn't going to let it ruin her big day. The bride simply gave up “and just ran through the sand to the altar,” the source adds. “They were on a high. She wasn’t going to worry about the small things.”
Seems like the couple had a nice, low-key wedding. Kind of refreshing compared to some of the over-the-top celebrity weddings these days.

 Jessica Simpson has been more than unlucky when it comes to love but the divorcee isn’t giving up just yet. The 29-year-old singer/actress (who will be celebrating her 30th birthday on Saturday) is heating things up with her new boyfriend – former 49ers player Eric Johnson.
According to TMZ.com, the two have been seeing each other since May and are happily committed to one another.
Simpson, who has been previously romantically linked to John Mayer, Adam Levine, Tony Romo and most famously Nick Lachey says she’s not going to give up on love and knows there’s someone out there for her.
We’ll know for sure if they’re a couple this weekend when she celebrates her birthday. If Eric is by her side, we’ll know it’s a go!

So, since my team got the boot from the world cup, I had to pick another team that I could get behind and support - looks like I now support Paraguay!! But why Paraguay you ask? Let me introduce you to 24 year old lingerie model Larissa Riquelme, who not only loves her team and country of Paraguay, but has promised to run through the streets naked if Paraguay wins the world cup!!  It's too bad the world cup doesn't work like American Idol, I would spend a few bucks texting in my votes for Paraguay to win. Unfortunately, we will just have to pray that they can play at their very best and win the cup on their own merits. Apparently, Argentina's coach Diego Maradona has also made a similar claim to get naked and parade through the streets of Buenos Aries should Argentina take the cup. Let's leave the balls on the pitch, okay Diego..? I know I'm now a huge Paraguay supporter - how about you?

Looks like there were some screw-ups back in 2007 when Lindsay was arrested for DUI and on misdemeanor drug charges, which Lohan pleaded guilty to, including a plea of no contest to three driving related charges.  But it looks like there were some errors on behalf of the arresting officer, who found a "folded Clinique sun care card with an unknown substance caked on to the surface of the card in Lohan's right rear pocket," the report continues "I did not recognize the substance attached to the card and initially thought the substance was a wet crushed breath mint," - because that's how most people tote their breath mints..? The officer then proceeded to throw this 'folded card' with the 'unknown substance' into the trash! This card then spent about two minutes in the trash can before the officer realized that this 'substance' resembled cocaine, according to the report. Apparently some of this substance also fell on the floor but the officer "thought nothing of it" - he later scooped up the fallen substance from the floor and placed it in a separate evidence envelope. I'm not sure what all of this will mean for Lindsay but I'm sure her legal team will be happy to hear this news!

Looks like the 14 kids are draining the bank accounts and fast! Mother of the century, Ms. Nadya Suleman is apparently running out of cash to keep a roof over her and her 14 kids' heads. After reportedly receiving a six month California mortgage extension and around $5000 from P.E.T.A for mortgage payments and food, the young mom of too many is still facing the possibility of having her home put into foreclosure.  According to her lawyer Jeff Czech: “The truth is Nadya is living from month to month right now,” “There are a few deals in the pipeline ... I hope that these will materialize for her family." Adding “Fortunately, she does not seem to be getting down about the situation, though it does concern me.” Here's a quote from her lawyer that we really enjoyed: "we have no legal rights to the biological father of her children being financially responsible for them.” What!? How could they even mention a sperm donor in any statement they make regarding those children. Why not try to get some cash from the crazy doctor that let her go through with having that many children to begin with! In contrast, the Duggar family from Arkansas has 19 children and lives debt free! Okay, we shouldn't compare apples to oranges here, but the point is - if you are going to have that many children despite warnings from the sane people of the world, you should be more responsible for their well being. I do understand that her notoriety may make it more difficult to get another job outside of the house, but she needs to do something and quickly!

America's favorite mental yo-yo Miss Britney Spears is now apparently a fashion designer! The Circus star is designing a line for the Candie's brand that will be sold exclusively at Kohl's.
 “I wanted to design clothes that I would wear and my fans would wear. That was the most important thing to me,” said Spears when asked why she got into this line of work. “I wanted to make both daytime casual looks and fun dresses to go out in at night. I met with the design team for Candie’s and Kohl’s, and we started making sketches and designed a line. I got to approve every single piece in the line. It was really a lot of fun.”
With the enormous success behind her fragrance lines, we're sure this venture will be a giant hit too. It will be interesting to see what "designs" she comes up with, or at least approves having her name associated with.
Britney really is the queen of comebacks! In just over 2 years she has gone from top to bottom and bounced right back to the top again with sold out tours, awards and now - a fresh new look!
