America's favorite mental yo-yo Miss Britney Spears is now apparently a fashion designer! The Circus star is designing a line for the Candie's brand that will be sold exclusively at Kohl's.
 “I wanted to design clothes that I would wear and my fans would wear. That was the most important thing to me,” said Spears when asked why she got into this line of work. “I wanted to make both daytime casual looks and fun dresses to go out in at night. I met with the design team for Candie’s and Kohl’s, and we started making sketches and designed a line. I got to approve every single piece in the line. It was really a lot of fun.”
With the enormous success behind her fragrance lines, we're sure this venture will be a giant hit too. It will be interesting to see what "designs" she comes up with, or at least approves having her name associated with.
Britney really is the queen of comebacks! In just over 2 years she has gone from top to bottom and bounced right back to the top again with sold out tours, awards and now - a fresh new look!

 Reports are buzzing that Rihanna was caught smoking marijuana at a luxurious hotel in Barbados! According to the site mediatakeout.com, the singer and a group of friends apparently set off the smoke alarms in their posh suite, causing hotel security officials to check her room in response. Although the police were not called in to investigate the allegation further, word has it that Rihanna has been banned from staying at the hotel in the future. As if it weren't embarrassing enough to be called out for smoking pot, the singer reportedly trashed the room she was staying in too. We would be critical to say that she has tarnished her reputation with her recent escapades, but this certainly doesn't add anything positive to her career. Although we can't 100% vouch for the source of this story, we are interested in knowing what you think about celebrities who are role models for children behaving in this type of manner?

One of our favorite celebrities of all time is undoubtedly the one and
only Ms. Tina Turner! We love Tina for so many reasons - her incredible
voice, her unparalleled sexiness and let's not forget about those
explosive dance moves!
For more than 50 years - that's right - 50 years!, the Queen of Rock n Roll has inspired many other artists and most recently star athletes in several ways, including dance, fashion, spiritualism and of course singing.
In honor of Tina, let's take a look at just three of the folks she's inspired along the way.
 1) Mick Jagger. In 1966 The Ike and Tina Turner Review was invited to be the opening act for the Rolling Stones tour of England. Having never met in person prior to touring together, Tina recalls "I didn't know who the Stones were," "They were just these white boys and Mick was the one who was always standing in the wings watching us. He was a little shy of me, but finally we started having fun and I tried to teach him some dances, because he'd just stand still onstage with the tambourine. He'd try things like the Pony or some hip movements backstage and we'd all just laugh."
From that moment on, the world has been exposed to Mick's iconic dance moves, moves all courtesy of Tina Turner, of course. "I learned a lot of things from Tina," says Jagger.
 2) Amy Winehouse. Okay, so maybe not the best celebrity to highlight a connection to Tina, but there is indeed an inspirational connection between the two women - and it's spiritual!
In an on-going effort to beat drug and alcohol addictions, the Rehab singer has taken up the practice of Buddhist chanting - a practice that has been inspired by - you guessed it - Tina Turner. “Amy has also been watching the interview clip of Tina Turner chanting on YouTube and she reckons it’s already affecting her in a positive way,”. We do hope that this inspiration leaves a permanent mark on the troubled singer and she eventually finds her inner-peace before it's too late.
 3) Venus Williams. Making recent headlines for her fashion flair on the court, tennis icon Venus Williams was channeling inspiration from Tina when creating unique outfits to wear at her up-coming tennis matches. "I know that the French Open outfit look caused a stir, but I think the one I will wear in the next couple days will be better yet—it’s all about lace and fringes, a lot of fringes. I’m thinking about Tina Turner here. I am not sure how that is going to go over, but at least I can say that it will catch everyone’s attention.” And attention it received!
The list of people who have been inspired by Tina Turner really does go on-and-on, we've only simply touched the tip of the iceberg here. Lady Gaga was made an official ‘Fashion Victim’ this week, after she took a spill while walking on huge-ass platform shoes (yes, in this case that is the technical term) through London’s Heathrow Airport. Gaga – known for her outrageous outfits both on stage and off – was wearing thigh-high black leather boots that truthfully looked like chaps, black hotpants, and a leather bustier under a sheer black tank as she strolled through the airport. ![]() ![]()  While it’s the first time we’ve captured a Lady Gaga wardrobe malfunction (blame the shoes!) the singer frequently makes headlines because of her sense of style. She frequently changes her look and, along with the Haus of Gaga spends hours creating clothes that reflect the real-life character she has created. So what does this fall mean? While no one appears to be sympathetic to Lady Gaga’s tumble (I dare them to try to walk even just a few feet in those shoes) this does reveal that the constant performer is still human after all.

Looks like things are getting heated again between two of Hollywood's leading ladies. Rumor has it that Jennifer Aniston has supposedly been warned by Angelina to stay away from Angelina & Brad's 6 children after reports that Brad and Jen are back on friendlier terms with each other.  A source close to the situation has suggested "The last thing she wants is Jen trying to act like some kind of surrogate mother to her six kids. She cannot imagine anything more distressing — and at the same time she does not want any of them getting confused about what is happening to their family." A lot of the frustration in this matter is caused by Angelia's concern that her children will get mixed messages about why their dad is spending so much time with his ex-wife. Looking back in time we realize that Angelia was a home wrecker who broke up the happily married couple in the first place, so do we really care what she thinks about Jen and Brad re-connecting?

Did you just feel that? A 5.5 magnitude earthquake shook central parts of Canada this afternoon at approx 1:41 pm with the epicentre located in the province of Quebec, in an area about 61 kilometers north from the national capital of Ottawa.
The quake struck during a television interview with Canadian Environment Minister Jim Prentice at CTV's Ottawa bureau. Prentice recalls "I was on the air and suddenly my chair was moving," and adds "Fortunately I was at the end."
Several buildings in Ottawa and as far south as Toronto had to be evacuated in response to the tremors, and fortunately we have not heard of any injuries associated with the earthquake. Regions of the United States close to the Canadian border also felt the ground shake.
Earthquakes in this part of the world are less common than in other regions, but do occasionally remind us that our world is a living thing and is open to change at any time.

Although Martina Navratilova and Julia Lemigova have been an item for some time now, it's only recently that we're learning more about this lady in Martina's life.  Julia, a former beauty queen who was the last pageant winner to hold the title of Miss Soviet Union before the collapse of the Soviet empire, is also a model and entrepreneur. Julia's life story however, is anything but glamorous. Back in 2005, Julia's name was in the headlines when her then lover Edouard Stern was found dead after being shot in the head. His mistress Cecile Brossard later confessed to the crime. However, Lemigova and Stern did have a baby together, but this too ended in tragedy for Lemigova as the baby died at approx 5 months old from what would appear to be shaken baby syndrome - her nanny apparently vanished days after the baby's death and the case was closed due to a lack of evidence. That truly does sounds like a tragic series of events for lemigova and we hope that she has now found that perfect place in life with Martina.

Looks like the tighty-whitey wearing "Naked Cowboy" has some competition from none other than a "Naked Cowgirl"!
 Apparently the famous 'cowboy' who's often seen sporting a pair of white briefs and a guitar in NYC's times square, has recently been the victim of a copy cat - a cat by the name of Sandy Kane to be exact, a former stripper who has also taken to the streets wearing only a bikini and calling herself the Naked Cowgirl.
One would think there was enough room in this city for 2 scantily clad fame whores (god knows there are hundreds of them in Hollywood alone)
So what's the big deal? Well, the naked cowboy aka Robert Bruck wants this naked cowgirl to sign a "naked cowboy franchise agreement" if she wants to continue parading around the square, posing for pictures and using the name naked cowgirl. In response to his demand, Kane, whose real name is Sandra Brodsky simply stated that she didn't owe Bruck anything.
What do you think - should there only be one "naked cowperson?" in Times Square or should the two of them join forces and make people sick together?

It's one thing to piss off thousands of Mets fans, but don't mess with Jerry Seinfeld!
 After giving the crowd the one finger salute at a recent Mets game, Lady Gaga then joined fellow celebrity Jerry Seinfeld in his private stadium box to watch the rest of the game. This was not cool with Jerry as he later opened up to WFAN Sports Radio's Steve Somers saying "She's a jerk," adding "what is she giving the finger [for]? What's the finger anyway? Speaking of interesting and new, how old is the finger? How did it even get to be the finger?" - We love Jerry's way with words!
Apparently up until the game there was nothing but passing grades for the 24 year old pop star, but after her ill choice of gestures for the crowd..."You know, I changed my mind. This woman's a jerk. I hate her," Seinfeld said. "I can't believe they put her in my box that I paid for! You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we're living in now?"
Clearly, Jerry was not impressed. Here's how the rant ended "Get an act," he said. "Rhinestone bikinis and giving people the finger? But she is talented. I don't know why she's doing this stuff."

 After a short-lived eleven month romance with Tony Kusia, Crystal Bowersox comes clean with the details on why their relationship fell apart. Bowersox tells Steppin' Out magazine “I woke up Tuesday morning and he just had an epiphany. He wanted a simple, quiet life and I respect that. I’m glad he told me instead of sticking it out and realizing it later that he would be unhappy."
Sources say that Crystal was shocked by the news. “We always had a real open and honest relationship with each other…I’ve had to deal with a lot worse in my life. It was bad timing, definitely. But I feel like I’ve never been stronger in my life. It was nothing that I couldn’t handle. I just channeled all of that emotion into my performances.”
We can't help but feel sad for Crystal, as it seemed the stars were really lining up in her life and showing her the road to victory. Although Bowersox placed second in 2010's American Idol, she's an A-List singer in many regards and is also highly sought after in the recording business. Perhaps this parting of ways with Tony will prove to be the best intervention the stars have ever blessed her with.

During a recent radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, Tori Spelling dishes the dirt on her relationships with former Beverly Hills 90210 cast mates and claims "all my cast members hate me"
This comes as no surprise to us, but let's dig a little deeper shall we? Turns out, that after Tori married her now husband Dean (insert last name here?), her former west Beverly high school friends dropped her like 3rd period French class. When asked a little more about it, Tori suggested that she no longer speaks with Tiffany Amber Thessien and infact the olny cast mate she continues to talk to is Jenny what's er name who played Kelly someone?
Why doesn't she just eat a sandwich and leave us alone already!?

 Chronic b-tch and most unattractive woman of 2010, Heather Mills, has just announced to the world that she's preparing to compete in the 2014 paralympic winter games in Sochi Russia.
As a fan of the Paralympics, I was disappointed to learn of this news to say the least. With so many extremely talented athletes participating in the games, it's a shame to see that she is using this platform to further her abysmal career as a hack.
Heather had part of her leg amputated after a nasty run-in with a police motorcycle back in 1993, leaving her with obvious challenges in life. I really am sincere when I say what happened to Heather's leg is truly tragic and life shattering in many ways, however, how Heather conducts herself and treats other people is the real tragedy of her life.
With just over 3 years to go before the Sochi games, we'll see if she can stick with it and indeed make it to the finish line - of the race that is - her career ended a long time ago.

 Bachelor fans who are completely and utterly shocked (sarcasm) that Jake and Vienna have officially broken up can find some comfort in knowing that it was Jake’s decision to kick Giardi to the curb – because he thought she was cheating!
We’re pretty sure poor Jake was the only person in the world who couldn’t see the “Skank” label posted on Vienna’s forehead but, in the end, he too realized that Vienna was nothing more than a mildly attractive you-know-what hoping to score some fame from the show.
Sources confirm that Jake kicked Vienna’s sorry ass to the curb after realizing that she was “stepping out” with another man.
Who’s the other man in question? That would be “Greek” star Gregory Michael.
Judging by the number of tears he cried after being eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, we’re pretty sure Jake is curled up in the fetal position bawling his eyes out this morning.
Gee, golly, sometimes things just don’t turn out the way you hoped they would have, huh Jake?

Heidi and Spencer are at it again. Real or not, the infamous reality TV duo have ramped up the drama surrounding their divorce. Round 184,200 of their split has Spencer hacking in to Heidi’s Twitter account and using it to – get this – flirt with Justin Bieber.
Uh… yeah.  After buzz started flying about Heidi’s suggestive tweet (it read “now that I am getting divorced I think you and I should do a photo shoot together! Cutie ;) I’m closer to your age.”) Heidi tweeted celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, saying, “I didn’t write that thing about Bieber my fame *** x husband hacked my Twitter and wrote that he is so lame!”
Riiiiiight. It’s just Spencer who is the fame whore. You, Heidi-Doll, are above all of that.
Like the good non-fame whore she is, Heidi still found it in her heart to give a shout out to Spencer’s book, amidst all of the “controversy.”
She tweeted, “Let me be clear OMG! Spencer used my name to get a check on his book ‘how to be famous’ I had nothing to do with it! He is the fame whore!”
Of course, Heidi. We totally believe you.

 News that model Tom Nicon committed suicide took the fashion world by storm last week. This week, reports are surfacing that the up-and-coming model may have taken his own life after struggling with a breakup.
The Telegraph has confirmed that Nicon’s death was ruled suicide and is reporting that he became severely depressed after an unexpected split with his girlfriend.
According to reports, designer Donatella Versace was one of the final people who had the chance to speak with Tom Nicon:
“Tom was with us on Friday morning for a final show fitting. He seemed fine and calm. He had already done three or four shows with us and he was a sweet boy. I just can't understand why he did what he did. We would never have thought he would do something like this.
"When we heard the news we were all so upset and we still are all so very sad."
Tom took his life the day before the kick-off of Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week. He fell 40 feet to his death after jumping from his apartment in Milan.
So sad.
