Britney’s recent trip to Las Vegas may have streamlined Kevin’s plan to gain full custody of their two boys.
Britney, who claims Sean Preston and Jayden James are her No. 1 priority, seems to be making selfish moves which may end up costing her her children.
 Britney flew to Vegas on Wednesday afternoon with her kids and her brother Bryan. And according to PEOPLE, the former pop princess asked that her hotel room be “childproofed” for the visit.
But what would Kevin Federline and his lawyer think about Brit’s getaway? Well, K-Fed is probably thrilled.
Britney’s recent trip has opened up a new window of opportunity for Kevin in their on-going custody battle for their children.
According California state law, “neither parent is allowed to take a child out of state without permission from the other – or by obtaining a court order.”
Sources tell PEOPLE that Kevin had no idea about Britney’s trip to Vegas.
Losing your children is a hefty price to pay for stupidity. But Britney’s recent actions are anything but parent-like.
Maybe this will be the wakeup call Britney needs.

Paris Hilton may have some pointers for Nicole Richie on how to get through the nightmares of jail.
It seems as though 25-year-old Richie is a few steps behind Paris; but is headed in the exact same direction.
It was recently reported that Nicole Richie will definitely do time in jail.
The “Simple Life” star is expected meet with the court commissioner next Friday, where she will plead either “guilty” or “no contest” to the DUI she was arrested for on December 11th of last year.
According to state law, anyone with 2 DUI convictions must serve at least 5 days in jail. As a result, Richie will definitely be behind bars for at least 5 days, even if she cops a plea.
Is it just me or does 5 days in jail for 2 DUI charges seem like a pretty minor punishment?
Perhaps Richie will shed some light on the situation in her exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer airing on “Good Morning America” and 20/20 next Thursday and Friday.
At least she’s willing to ’fess up to her mistakes and take the punishment (however trivial the punishment may be). Too bad we can’t say that for celebrities like Lindsay Lohan.

Another celebrity couple has officially welcomed a new edition to the family!
Naomi Watts gave birth to a healthy baby boy, early Thursday morning in Los Angeles.
 Alexander Pete Schreiber came a little earlier than expected for the proud parents.
Naomi’s due date was originally scheduled for early August, but the 38-year-old actress and her longtime love, Live Schrieber, were excited about the early arrival.
Watts and Schreiber were adamant about keeping the gender of the baby a secret. An inside source for Life & Style magazine had the following words to say about the new parents:
“This is a dream come true for both of them and they've done everything in their power to make it as special as possible, right down to staying in the dark about the baby's sex right up until Naomi gave birth.”
Watts, Schreiber and their new baby boy are said to be resting comfortably in a hospital near Naomi’s home in Brentwood, California.

It was only a matter of time before fame-hungry celebrity mom, Dina Lohan, began using her daughter’s drinking and driving stint to make herself look like a better mom.
Dina, who is more desperate to become famous than Vanessa Minnillo, has decided to speak out about her daughter’s recent actions. And as most of us expected, the 44-year-old mother is so concerned with making herself look good that she doesn’t even realize the harm she’s causing her daughter.
 "This is a very personal and private matter and our only concern is to get Lindsay the help that she needs," Dina writes in an email to “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush. "We will get through this together and it will make our family stronger."
Telling the world that is a ‘personal and private matter’ while taking every opportunity to speak to the media about the situation doesn’t make any sense.
It seems to me that Dina is more concerned with manipulating the Lohan reputation than she is about the condition of her daughter.
The other thing that concerns me about Lindsay’s mom’s statement is the fact that she insists that the incident will make their family stronger.
Dina; it’s okay to admit that your daughter did something wrong. But if you act like it’s a positive thing, what is that telling Lindsay’s younger sister and brother, and all of Linday’s fans? They’ll be following in Lindsay’s footsteps in no time.
Sure, the family might get through this situation; but repeatedly breaking the law without facing any consequences doesn’t teach anyone anything.
With moms like Dina Lohan, it’s no wonder there are children like Lindsay Lohan.

Let’s hope Nicole Richie is a better interviewee than Britney Spears.
The 25-year-old “Simple Life” star is ready to set the record straight in an exclusive interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer.
 Nicole, set to be immersed in her own DUI trial next month (her court date is set for Aug. 16), will talk to the media for the first time since rumors surfaced that she may be pregnant.
Nicole will chat with Diane about hot topics like the pregnancy rumors, the possibility of spending time in jail and her relationship with Hilary Duff’s ex-boyfriend, Joel Madden.
The truth will be revealed in three segments, which are scheduled to air at the end of next week.
If you’re interested in what Nicole has to say, tune into “Good Morning America” on Thursday and Friday and “20/20”, also on Friday.
Nicole should be careful though.
There seems to be a curse on celebrity interviews lately. Between Lindsay Lohan missing Jay Leno because of her DUI arrest and Britney’s stint with OK!, there’s a bad aura in the air.

Despite Britney Spears’ outrageous antics over the past six months, millions of fans were still pulling for Brit to make her comeback.
And just when things were looking up for the former blonde bombshell (she was chosen to host the opening of LAX Las Vegas, she had just recently shot a new video and she was rumored to be scheduled to perform at September’s MTV Video Awards), everything went crashing to the ground.
 Not only did Britney’s highly publicized (and extremely disastrous) interview with OK! magazine make her look like a completely messed-up diva, it may have ended up sealing the fate of the 25-year-old’s career.
After hearing the shocking story from OK! editor in chief, Sarah Ivens, it’s unlikely the pop princess will be booked for anything in the upcoming months, let alone another tell-all interview. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if LAX Las Vegas sent out a press release announcing Brit has been replaced as the host of their grand opening!
Britney is a grown adult with two young children who could really use a lesson on respect. Stealing clothes and jewelry from the only magazine that was willing to publish her story (she approached OK! - they didn’t approach her) is not respectful and is not acceptable for someone who has more money than most of us dream of.
I'd be surprised if Brit can bounce back from this one. The damage has been done - but is it irreversible? It would take a miracle!

Could a royal wedding be in the works?
A few days ago Prince William and his on-again/off-again girlfriend, Kate Middleton, were unexpectedly seen cozying up at Camilla’s 60th birthday bash. The surprising reunion shocked the British press and sparked rumors of a potential proposal.
 It’s clear that Wills and Kate have worked things out, but is a wedding in the works already?
According to several sources, Will and Kate talked about marriage before they decided to split a few months ago. And while many were waiting for news of a proposal, news of their breakup came first.
Fortunately, the two are back together now, but have kept their relationship as low-key as possible.
As for rumors of a wedding, they remain just that – rumors.
When asked about popping the question, Prince William told the press “It is not something we are going to comment on at all, I am afraid."
Unfortunately for Wills, not commenting doesn’t mean the news will remain a secret. As soon as he pops the question, the press will print the story. And you can bet we’ll have all the details.

Some things just aren’t meant to be.
Millions of fans who’ve spent the past year hoping that Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson would reunite are going to be disappointed with a recent statement made by Nick.
 While many like to believe that the formerly happy couple will find their way back to one another, it’s not looking likely. Here’s what Nick had to say about his past relationship with singer/actress, Jessica Simpson.
“It was best for both of us that it ended the way it did. It's a good thing to put behind you. I learned a lot of valuable lessons.”
To make matters even more gloomy, Nick decided to stress how happy he is in his new relationship with fame-hungry former “Entertainment Tonight” host, Vanessa Minnillo.
“Now I'm extremely happy with where my life and my relationship are going,” says the 33-year-old former “98 Degrees” singer.
“You can't let what happened in a previous chapter of your life dictate what happens in the next,” he finishes.
Looks like the much anticipated reunion between Nick and Jess is out of the question – for now at least. I still believe that these will end up together.

It appears there’s a twist to every story.
In a shocking turn of events, it appears there is still a faint ray of hope that Lindsay Lohan is telling the truth about her innocence in this week’s events.
 The 21-year-old actress was arrested on Tuesday morning for drinking and driving – her second identical charge in the last 3 months.
Lindsay’s uncle, Chris Sullivan, told the New York Post that Lindsay “may well not have been driving the car.” And while it’s difficult to believe that Lindsay (who was also found on scene with cocaine in her pocket) is actually telling the truth, the story kind of makes sense.
Police have said that Lindsay was found in a parking lot, screaming and arguing with a "friend" when she was arrested. There was never anything mentioned about Lindsay being caught behind the wheel. All the police officer said was that “after officers conducted their initial investigation they determined that she (Lindsay) was driving her vehicle under the influence.” The police officers allegedly didn't actually see Lindsay behind the wheel.
Is it possible that the investigation overlooked a major element in the case? Perhaps the starlet wasn’t driving the car but was simply intoxicated in a passenger seat. Looks like Lindsay might get herself out of this one. Well, not completely, she’ll still be charged with possession of cocaine, of course.
She certainly makes it difficult to believe her incessant pleas of "innocence"! Is anyone else with me?

Who said reality love would never last?
Just months ago Andy Baldwin was the lucky man chosen to be the next bachelor on the 11th season of the hit TV show “The Bachelor”. After eliminating 24 women in a matter of weeks, Baldwin proposed to Tessa Horst, the sweet social worker from San Francisco, California at the end of the show.
Now, nearly two months after choosing Tessa, the two are still madly in love.
Andy recently sat down with Florida Sports Magazine where he opened up about falling in love.
“We ended up falling in love,” says Baldwin. “She is the type of woman I envisioned and prayed would come on the show. I proposed to her, which was quick, and I initially didn’t think that was going to happen. Now that the show is over, we’re definitely taking it slow and at our own pace. We are eager to spend time together without the cameras outside of the ‘Narnia’ of a reality show. We’re calling it our ‘Dating-gagement.’”
It seems like a romance is blossoming. And when asked about his take on love, the U.S Naval Lieutenant had the following words of advice:
“You can’t force it to happen, but don’t be afraid to take a risk, go and push yourself. You might be pleasantly surprised by what you might find. Stay open and don’t get discouraged if you get rejected or turned down. This is a planet with billions of people. If one person says no, it’s a gift not a blow... Don’t stop until you find the right person. If you later find out your right person is the wrong person, be honest with them and yourself then start your search again.
“Happiness is finding laughter and love, that balanced give and take, that spark, that person who you actually want to talk with, not the person you have to talk to,” he finished.
Seems like Andy has love all figured out.
And while the odds of reality love lasting are not in their favor, it’s not out of the question completely.
Trista and Ryan (who are expecting their first baby), Charlie and Sara (who are still going strong) and Byron and Marie (who plan to marry this fall) are just a few examples of true love found on the TV show.

NFL quarterback, Matt Leinart, and his ex-girlfriend, Brynn Cameron, are experiencing difficulty raising their son as separated parents.
The former pair split up just after their little boy, Cole Cameron Leinart, was born in late 2006.
 Matt and Brynn are finding it very difficult to remain on good terms when their parenting skills differ so tremendously.
“I don't want to sit here and bad-mouth his lifestyle,” Brynn tells the Ventura County Star, “but it is hard because we are different people. He likes that Hollywood stuff and I don't like that.”
Brynn was also offended when Matt told the media that he loves being a dad.
“It's kind of hard for me as the mom, I'm with Cole probably 99.9 percent of the time – to open a magazine or read a newspaper article with Matt saying, 'Oh, I love being a dad. I love changing diapers. I love doing this.' I'm like, 'Wait, what?'"
The 21-year-old mother finishes by saying “It's been hard when I'm doing all the work, but he gets all the credit.”
But Matt, 24, insists he's trying to spend more time with his son. “Regardless of the allegations made, I have gone to great lengths to increase my custodial time with Cole,” says the Arizona Cardinals quarterback. "This includes seeking intervention from the family-law court."
Matt finished with a subtle insult aimed at his ex-girlfriend. "I don't know if Cole's mother is motivated by anger or by financial gain, but it is my sincere hope that one day we will be able to effectively co-parent our son who we both love very much."
Hopefully (for the sake of their little boy) these two parents can work things out.

Britney Spears isn’t worth a penny, let alone a million dollars. Or at least that’s what the team at OK! magazine thinks.
The pop princess was expected to receive one million dollars for her tell-all interview and photo shoot with the magazine but after the disrespectful behavior and unprofessional attitude she displayed on set, the magazine has decided not to pay her at all.
 Readers of the magazine who are expecting to see exclusive photos of the pop tart’s meltdown will likely be disappointed when they open the cover to find old photos of Brit.
Fortunately, OK! has promised to report the interview exactly how it happened – down to every grueling detail of the pop icon’s breakdown. At least they didn’t sugarcoat the interview to make Britney seem less crazy than she really is.
But why would the highly popular magazine decide to publish the interview but not the photos?
It’s simple; they don’t want to pay Britney a single cent for the chaos she created on the set of the interview. And as long as they don’t print the photos, the pop princess doesn’t get the million dollars she expected to receive from the interview.
Looks like Britney is paying a big price for stupidity – a million dollars to be exact.

It’s the day millions of men have been waiting for – Jessica Alba is finally single!
Jessica and her boyfriend of just over 2 years have decided to part ways. And according to US Weekly, the decision was not mutual.
 A source told the tabloid that “[Cash] thinks it’s for another guy but doesn’t know….he’s totally devastated. But it was all her.”
The relationship between the “Fantastic Four” star and her boyfriend had been on the rocks for the past few months. Many reports claimed that the two were headed towards splitsville and now the rumors have been confirmed.
How exactly did the actress break the news to her former boyfriend? She took a chapter out of Brit’s book and broke up with him via telephone.
But unlike our good friend Britney (who broke up with Kevin over a text message), Jessica at least had the decency to talk to her man one-on-one.
Personally, I can’t say I’m surprised by the news. After all, Jessica has clearly stated how she likes to sleep around.
“I just wanted to see what it was like to be with different people. I don't think a girl's a *** if she enjoys sex,” the 26-year-old actress told Cosmopolitan a few years ago.
“I could have a one-night stand, and I'm the kind of girl who looks over in the morning and is like, 'Do you really have to be here?' I don't need to cuddle and do all that stuff because I know what it is and I don't try to make it more.”
Seems like Jessica is finally getting what she wants – freedom!

Prince William and Kate Middleton are making news headlines once again, leading many to believe that the former couple is headed for reconciliation.
 Since their public break-up this spring, the couple has kept in touch, but over the past month, they had been seen together on several occasions. These rendezvous have sparked rampant rumors of a reunion. While it's still merely speculation at this point, this past weekend's liaison has sealed the deal for many optimistic fans of Will and Kate.
Prince William and Kate have been trying to keep their encounters as low-key as possible - hard to do when you're royalty, no doubt. However, the paparazzi couldn’t be tamed and the former couple was seen cozying up at a party for Camilla Parker.
Kate stunned the media when she appeared at the party for Will’s step-mother. The 25-year-old fashion buyer looked smashing in a floor-length cream dress while Prince William opted for the traditional suit and tie.
William’s brother Harry was not present at the party as he and girlfriend Chelsy Davy were on vacation.
There’s no doubt that Will and Kate are heating things up once again – they’re just taking things a little slower this time around.
