Well, it's that time of the year again - the Primetime Emmy Awards are set to air this Sunday (August 27th) on NBC. The Emmy's are one of the most prestigious awards shows (up there with the Oscars, Grammys and Golden Globes), honoring the best of the best in prime time television. Perhaps more important than the awards is the red carpet (which is actually expected to be a purple carpet, this year) pre-show! The 2 hour pre-show airs at 6 o'clock on Star and will feature the stars and their incredible fashion choices.

Entertainment Tonight has the inside scoop on who will be attending the world renowned event and the details on who will be wearing what. So far, its been said that Desperate Housewives star Alfre Woodard will be wearing Pamela Rowland in a dark hue and Will & Grace star Megan Mullally will be wearing something with long sleeves.

The annual event, held in Shrine Auditorium and hosted by Conan O'Brien is expected to be viewed by millions of people all over the world. Some of the expected stars to attend include Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Paris Hilton, Wentworth Miller, Nicole Richie, Salma Hayek and Lance Bass. Entertainment Tonight will be hosting an exclusive party where these stars have RSVPed to attend as well.
