In a recent issue of Esquire Magazine, Scarlett Johansson, who has obtained roles in hit movies like "The Island" and "The Black Dahlia,"  was named "the sexiest woman alive." Her unique charm, hourglass figure and luscious locks have helped her obtain the sexy image she portrays today. Perhaps her most notable feature, her full lips, seem to have given Angelina Jolie a run for her money. Regardless of the reason, the 21 year old starlett has managed to grab the attention of millions of people all over the world.

The decision to name Scarlett the sexiest woman alive has provoked contraversy within the entertainment industry. While some people completely agree with the blonde beauty as being the sexiest woman alive others are less than thrilled about the recent issue. Those who support the decision feel as though her healthy figure and down-to-earth personality are positive traits for idolizing fans. Others feel as though Scarlett Johansson, who often busts out of her dresses and sometimes gives off a "gothic" appearance is clearly not worthy of the title.

Regardless of the opinion of others, Esquire felt as though Scarlett was deserving of the title. What was Scarlett's reaction when she heard the news? She claims that although she appreciates being recognized for her beauty, she wants to be recognized for her intelligence as well. She feels as though her brain is her best feature.
