Halloween always brings out the best and worst in people, especially Hollywood celebrities itching for more attention. While some of the stars opted for cute and funny costumes others took Halloween as an opportunity to be even trashier than they are in their everyday lives. I'm assuming you can already guess which celebrities opted for trashy over classy but let's recap some of the best and worst costumes in Hollywood this year.

Worst Costumes

Is it any surprise that Paris Hilton landed herself on the worst dressed list - again. She grabbing at every opportunity to be provocative and it really isn't working for her. Ironically, Pairs chose to be a slutty police officer - something she's quite familiar with this year after her DUI arrest not long ago. Somebody really needs to tell her that her overly-exposed body is old news - everybody has seen it before and nobody cares anymore. 

No shock here - Lindsay Lohan is never far behind Paris when it comes to trashy clothing and tasteless personas. I'm not quite sure exactly what she's supposed to be here - maybe a prostitute? She actually gives prostitutes a bad name in this costume.

Come on girls, Halloween is an opportunity to veer away from your normal image - not embrace it.

Best Costumes

Heidi Klum showed off her fun side (and hid her 8 1/2 month baby bump) by dressing up as the apple of eden. Heidi's creative costume was definitely my pick for the best Hollywood costume this year.

Jessica Biel decided to embrace her inner feline by dressing up as a black cat. Her cute costume showed off her figure as she walked down the busy streets of Hollywood.
