A number of Hollywood's hottest and most fashionable celebrities have decided to exchange their bleach blonde locks for luscious brown hair. Most celebrities generally have the same look - small petite figures with long blonde extensions. But all that has changed and some of Hollywood's most iconic blondes are going brunette!
Britney Spears
Britney was infamous for her long blonde hair but quickly changed her look right before her wedding day to Kevin Federline. Her marriage is over now but Brit still looks great with darker locks. She definitely looks more youthful with the blonde hair but she can really pull off dark as well. It's a toss-up for me - I would have to see her with dark hair and her old body.
Mandy Moore
Mandy Moore started her music career much like most other young popstars. Long blonde hair and light blue eyes completed Mandy's look but recently she has opted for a more sophisticated look with darker hair. The dark brown locks look great with Mandy's skin tone and really bring out her facial features. This is an easy one to call - Mandy looks much better as a brunette.
Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie just recently changed her blonde locks for a deep brown hue. Recent pictures of Nicole show her looking quite small but with the new hair color her facial features look healthier and she almost looks glowing. I give this one a thumbs up too! Nicole looks much prettier and more mature as a brunette.
Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon is one of the few blondes-turned-brunettes that I think looked better as a blonde. Reese's pale skin tone makes her look washed out as a brunette. She looks much younger and way more modern with her golden blonde locks.
So I beg the question - If blondes have more fun how come so many of them are turning brunette? Something to think about ladies!
