Once you go Big you Never go Back

One of the biggest trends this year has been oversized handbags. The style of handbags has dramatically changed from previous years and some designs are becoming so big they're actually considered a hazard. Some of Hollywood's hottest celebrities have become so small they weigh under one hundred pounds. Add a 10 pound bag to their little wrists and it's likely they'll snap. Regardless of how uncomfortable these bags are to tote around everyday, stars continue to wear bigger styles with every day that passes.

Jlo has been considered a fashion icon since the moment she stepped on the musical scene. Her distinctive taste in clothing and her natural love for fashion are apparent in everything she wears. Even this oversized bag is in perfect proportion to her body.

Jessica Simpson is notorious for her big handbags. In fact, Jessica was one of the first celebrities (if not the first) to sport large handbags all over the world. Her infatuation with oversized handbags is one of her most recognizable traits and she usually chooses the most stylish designs.

Nicole Richie has lost a lot of weight in the past few years, possibly from carrying around her huge, heavy handbags. Sometimes her handbags actually look like they're cutting off the circulation in her arm, which can't be good. Pain is beauty, but is it really worth it?

So why have so many women swapped their small, compact handbags for large, oversized designs? Because the saying is true - once you go big you'll never go back.

As your handbags get larger and larger, you start packing more and more things in them. After a while, your entire life is in your purse. Then, when you try to go back to a smaller handbags there just isn't enough room for everything. Lucky for us, large handbags are in right now so we can pack as much stuff into our bags as possible. Hopefully the trend stays in and we won't have to worry about what to do with excess "necessities" if the style ever goes back to small.
