It seems as though the blogging community has officially started one of the biggest games of "tag- you're it" the world has ever seen. It's an international phenomenon held by bloggers that tells 5 things people may not know about you. After you're done you pass the baton off to another blogger to do the same. I was somewhat flattered when I received an email from my friend Kristine at Dietnation.com telling me I was "it."
So in the spirit of the game, here are 5 things you don't already know about me:
Most of my friends will agree when I say that I have a serious shopping problem. I am definitely a self-professed shopaholic who cannot say no to a deal if someone paid me. It's a real problem and I'm a little worried about myself in the future. I can't even count how many pieces of clothing I have that still have the tags on it - what a waste of my hard earned money.
Let's see, what else don't you know about me? Well, I broke my arm 3 times when I was a kid. What can I say, I'm small - my bones are fragile. Once when I was riding my bike, once when I fell off the side of a slide and once when I was tobogganing. I'm just as clumsy now as I was back then.
Here's a good one - I'm one of those people who can't have my food touching when I eat. I'm 22 years old and still have one of those separating plates that's broken into 3 categories. Some call it obsessive compulsive, I call it normal. How disturbing when a piece of juicy steak touches my baked potato - okay I can't talk about it anymore, I'm going to gag...next.
Something else you may not know about me is that I bite my finger when I'm scared. It's weird, I know but I can't help it. Whenever I watch a scary movie I had teeth prints in my fingers from biting them so hard. Wow, I never realized how weird I was until I started writing this article...anyways, onto the last one.
Finally, something else you may not know about me is the fact that I am absolutely petrified of animals. The type of animal doesn't matter - cats, dogs, fish, butterflies - you name it and I'm scared of it. Basically anything that is living that isn't a human scares me. I think it's because you never really know what they're going to do. At any given moment they can completely lose control and you would just be sitting there, left for dead. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little but it could happen.
Well now that I've probably lost a good 95 percent of my readership after posting this blog I guess I'll pass the baton off to Charmian over at Nomadik.com.
