The Golden Globe Awards honors some of the most talented men and women in the worlds of television and film. Last night, some of the most unexpected newcomers took home the gold, including "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera. While the red carpet featured some of the most phenomenal dresses on the market, there were a few that would definitely be considered fashion flops.

Let's Take a Look at Some of the Winners and Losers of Last Night...

Some of the unexpected but very deserving winners of last night's awards included Jennifer Hudson from "Dream Girls" who won for best performance by an actress in a supporting role as well as America Ferrera from "Ugly Betty" who took home the gold for best performance in a television series - musical or comedy. Some of the disappointments from last night were Beyonce, who was not chosen for best performance by an actress in a motion picture musical or comedy. "Borat" also took home a shiny Golden Globe award which came as quite a shock to everyone.

And the Red Carpet Winners and Losers...

While some men and women took home the Golden Globes, their performances on the red carpet were less than impressive. Some of the men who took home best dressed of last night include Justin Timberlake and Jamie Foxx. Some of the best dressed women include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Drew Barrymore, Eva Longoria, Reese Witherspoon and more.

Women who found themselves on the worst dressed list include Cameron Diaz, Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett.

Overall the awards show went over really well. Compared to previous years, the men and women were impeccably dressed this year (with the exception of a few).
