Normally we applaud individuals expanding their fashion limits and branching out into the not-so-popular accessories like ankle bracelets. Well, not in this case, we're not. NASA astronaut, Lisa Nowak, who is up on charges of attempted first degree murder has been released but must wear an ankle bracelet equipped with GPS to track her every move.
Nowak was caught in a love triangle with another astronuat. She was charged with attempting to kidnap the woman who was also romantically involved with her love interest. While Lisa is pleading innocent to the charges, the prosecution is determined to prove she is guilty.
The judge said there was insufficient evidence to keep Nowak from pre-trial release and he had no grounds to keep Nowak in custody. Until further court dates are arranged, Nowak will sport her ankle bracelet knowing that police are watching her every move. Lisa will remain in Orange County incase a hearing is announced.
