It's official - Marc Jacobs has checked himself into a rehab center. The acclaimed designer reportedly relapsed after staying sober for the past seven years and decided to undergo a round of in-patient treatment for drug and alcohol abuse.

Jacobs had just finished showcasing his Fall 2007 designs which included ready to wear collections for his labels Marc Jacobs, and Marc by Marc Jacobs, as well as a collection for Louis Vuitton.

The hectic fashion schedule with runway shows in New York, London, and Paris may have had an impact on the over-worked designer; the day after the Louis Vuitton show in Paris, Jacobs flew to a treatment facility in Arizona.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Jacob's business partner, Robert Duffy, confirmed the rumor, "Marc made the right decision...When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away."
