Izzy Camilleri Runway Report Fall 2007

Izzy Camilleri showed her edgy designs last Thursday during Toronto Fashion Week; her collection was definitely one of the most exciting and innovative shows of the entire week.

The presentation itself was without flaw, everything from the black plexiglass runway, to the body pounding beats emanating from the speakers got everyone ready for the edgy, rock and roll inspired designs.

And Izzy did not disappoint. Once the show began, models in sleek, figure-hugging, and glossy clothes began to barrel themselves down the runway, keeping in perfect time with the  music.

Izzy fans feasted their eyes on mink and raccoon bubble coats, (she's known for her fur- in The Devil Wears Prada, Meryl Streep wore a red and black dyed fox coat designed by Izzy), patent leather trench coats, metallic dresses, and sleek leather pants.

The show ended with a sequin series that took the '80s inspired theme one step further - the copper sequin kite dress was Izzy's nod to glitz and glam.

The collection as a whole was hard, strong, and undeniably sexy!
